Blog Entry #4 September 4th 2013

So. I said yes. Me and the guy are going on a date in two days and I'm a little nervous. Not only is he a celebrity, it's my first date since I was 14. It's been 4 years since I've had a boyfriend or gone on a date. I don't know if I wear casual jeans and a tee or a formal dress. He hasn't told me anything and every time I ask, he doesn't tell me, saying its a surprise. So what do you think, Internet? I'm so confused and my friends are difficult to talk to about these things.

Anyway,

Signing out,

I close my laptop and walk downstairs for my second day at Collaroy.

BEEP! I unlock my phone. A comment on my blog already?

'Wear a casual dress. and I hope ur happy - B.M.I'

This B.M.I is awesome, but it sounds like they're unhappy. I'll have to ask later.

"Baylee, can you put the bins out?" Dad asks.

"Sure." I reply, taking the recycling in one hand and the garbage in the other.

I walk out the front door and throw the bags into the steel bins. I see the bus in the corner of my eye. I'll take the bus today. I walk inside quickly and grab my bag.

"Dad! I'm catching the bus!" I shout.

"Ok, Bay. Love you."

"Love you too, Kenneth." I say as I close the front door.

I stand about a foot away from the curb and the bus comes to a stop.

"Do you go to Collaroy Girls Grammar?" I ask the bus driver.

"Sure do, love. Hop on." The driver replies.

I do so and see many girls and boys, both from Collaroy and Charles King (that's the name of the boys school). Then a familiar face catches my eye. James. It's the only free seat on the entire bus.

I walk up to James. "Is this seat taken?" I ask.

"No. You can sit here, Baylee." He says.

I thank him and sit down, plugging in my earphones. I put it on shuffle and "Now" by Paramore comes on, one of my all time favourites.

After about a minute, I get a tap on my shoulder.

"Yes?" I ask, pulling my earphones out of my ears.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my party tonight? It'll be mainly the populars, and I know Ali and Margo will there." James asks.

"Um, yeah. I'll come." I smile.

"Do you want me to pick you up?" He asks.

"Nah, it's fine. I'll drive there myself. Maybe take Ali and Margo too."

"Ok. Oh, here's our stop." He says, standing up. I stand up too and we walk to front the aisle.

We step off the bus and start walking down the street.

"So, where's your school?" I ask.

"It's pretty much your school, but our main blocks are just across the street, over there." He says, pointing at the building about half a mile away.

"Do I have to do some classes over there?"

"What do you have today?" He asks. I give him my timetable.
