Disguised in an oversized hoodie, loose jeans and slippers, Ylona Garcia propped herself comfortably inside the famous coffee shop with a frappe in hand.
She took a sip of her caramel flavored frappuccino as she busied herself with her phone, reading tweets and DMs from her fans.
It was mostly of greetings and admirations addressed specifically and obviously to her.
She would occasionally glance at her wristwatch and check the time, then back again to reading more tweets and scrolling down on her feed.
By ten, Starbucks was a bit crowded. She caught a glimpse of the busy street outside.
Manila as it is.
It was almost near twelve when she decided to order her second cup of goodness and maybe a choco cake for dessert. Something that would help appease her growing hunger.
Upon the arrival of her food, she immediately took a spoonful and indulged in the sweetness of the said cake. She was clearly enjoying every bite of the delectable pastry. She even had her eyes closed, too satisfied that only 'hmnnns' and 'ahhs' came out of her mouth.
She hadn't noticed that a guy came and sat across her. That is until he spoke.
"Hey." Her eyes shot open as he heard the familiar voice, waking her up in her dreamy state.
She came face to face with a handsome man. Well, yeah. Long lashes, thick brows, pointed nose and pink lips, not to mention he's as white as a radish. Indeed he was definitely handsome. Minus lang yung suot nitong polo na doble sa laki niya at shades na Ray ban. Mukha itong gangster. Katawa tawa. Pero pogi.
His hair was tucked inside his snapback worn backwards. They stared at each other, and even if she can't see it, she can feel his brown orbs boring into hers.
If this was some scenic movie or anything, the girl would've drooled over the guy, but then, this is reality. She again glanced at her wristwatch before whacking the person in front of her on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?" The guy protested with his thick British accent, rubbing the part where he got hit.
"What was that for?! You really asking me that you dimwitted crocodile. You're three hours late! You expect me to be okay with it?"
"Calm down alright? I'm sorry. The traffic's terrible, and well, we packed up a little late on the set. Y'know we had a bit of revisions the last minute." He explains, defending his side.
Valid enough. She thoughts.
Ylona sighs, as she let the subject drop entirely.
"Whatever."
She rolled her eyes at him as she continued munching on her food. Bailey couldn't help but grin at how adorably fascinating his best friend could get.
"Lona."
"Ano?"
"Tara."
Ylona's forehead creased, confusion etched over her face.
"Where?"
"Basta."
"Ngayon na?"
"Yeah."
"But I'm still not done!" Protesta nito.
"I don't care."
Bailey held her hand at iginiya siya papalabas ng lugar na iyon laughing while she rants about her unfinished cake.
