Bird laughed as she tummbled around in the meadow of daisies and tall grass with her friends. "Bet you can't catch me!" She yelled teasingly at Tunnel as he tried to catch up with the swift she-cat. Dive laughed at the look of Surprise on Bird's face as the large tom finally caught up to her and pouncing on her. "Surrender or face the end of my claws!" Tunnel growled playfully. "You better do as he says!" Dive yelled out as he sat on the sidelines giggling at the two. They looked absolutely ridiculous!
Bird pulled Tunnel close to whisper into his ear. She looked over to Dive and laughed. "What?" The black tom asked, confused. "Oh nothing...." Bird answered as she glanced back over to Tunnel, letting out another snort. Tunnel laughed too, finally cluing the other tom in on what was happening. "You have a butterfly on your head, beetlebrain!" He said laughingly. Dive crossed his eyes, looking up to try and see the butterfly. He shook his head and smiled as he saw it flying away. Tunnel looked up at the sky, noticing the sinking sun.
"It's getting dark outside, we better get back to the others before they send out a group looking for us again." He meowed, still smiling. At that the three set off back into the woods surrounding the meadow, still laughing as they jabbed and joked.

Bird twitched in her sleep. Visions of stars flashed in her head, and voices boomed all around her. She saw herself staring down at the entire territory that belonged to the large group of rogues. She saw cats smiling and playing in the trees, she saw lightning. A loud crash and flash of light revealed the sillouhette of a large cat, standing over her, she felt as if she were hanging off of the edge of a cliff. She tried to ask the cat for help, and reached a paw out, but the cat sneered at her and raised its paw, striking her off of the edge of the cliff sending her down... down... down... down...
Bird awoke gasping and looked around franticly, her fur spiked up in terror. She soon calmed her breathing and smoother her fur as she saw where she was at. She was back in the oak forest with Tunnel and Dive snoring beside her. She shook out her fur and began to walk, wanting to get away from the group of cats for a while. As she was walking she came upon a large oak tree, bigger than any of the ones she had ever seen! She padded around it sniffing. Her hackles raised as she cuaght wind of the smell of a stranger. She growled as she saw the un-familiar cat walk out from behind the oak tree.
The cat's fur was as golden as the sunset and seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. "Get out!" She growled aggresively. "If you attack me you'll regret it, there's a lot more of us back that way!" She hissed. The cat stared at her and soon began to laugh in a deep echoing way. "I have not come to harm you, young cat." He meowed sweetly as he padded up to her. The places where he stepped seemed to light up with his touch. "I am Bravestar" He meowed in his booming voice. "And I have come to bless the rogues of the forest."
Bird looked the cat up and down, noticing that he was transparent. "I knew that mouse was spoiled." She meowed to herself. "First those blasted dreams and now I'm hallucinating!" She growled. "You are not dreaming, young warrior." Bravestar meowed to her. "I have chosen you and two others to create a wonderful life for your friends and families, you are to become clan cats." And with that the strange cat touched his nose to hers, sending a flashing pain throughout her whole body. She felt her limbs grow ligher and her claws grow sharper, she saw visions of green leaves and bark chipping off of branches as she walked along them. The pain finally grew so great, that she passed out on the forest floor in front of the large oak tree.
••••
Bird awoke oncemore between her friends, and surrounded by all the other rogues from their large group. She could still feel the pain in her legs, and she collapsed on to the forest floor. Tunnel and Dive rolled over groaning, they felt as if they had been struck by lightning. Bird looked over to them, a wild thought in her head. "Did you guys happen to have a really weird dream too...?" She asked. Her head was still spinning and began to even more so when both toms glanced over to eachother and nodded . All three of the cats stood once more and began to walk quietly towards their meadow.
"....and then I woke up but I was underwater!" Dive said, a glitter in his eyes. "And then Bravestar touched his nose to mine and it felt like I had fallen from the top of one of the huge oaks!" He continued "And then I woke up ad now for some reason I have all this stuff in my head about how clans work!" He finished. "My expierience was almos the same, except Bravestar met me in a really wide underground path..." Tunnel said as he looked down at his paws. Bird looked over to the tom worriedly. "Is there something wrong?" She asked "we've been chosen for something special, all together, what's bugging you?" She meowed seeming somewhat annoyed.
Tunnel flicked his ears and looked over to his two friends. "That's the problem..." he meowed "Bravestar showed all of us how a clan works, and showed us images of other clans. None of the leaders really liked each other."
Bird laughed and placed a paw on his shoulder. "Maybe Bravestar wanted us to break the pattern." She meowed clamly. "All I know is that no matter what, we stick together. Forever."
The cats went back to their large group and told them everything that had happened to them, as expected some didn't believe them and left. But there was a group large enough for each of the new leaders to have their own loyal followers. Bird became Birdstar, leader of Birdclan. Dive became Divestar, leader of Diveclan. Tunnel became tunnelstar, leader of Tunnelclan. Starclan had granred each clan with an ability that helped them to survive where they lived. Birdclan of the large oak trees gained hollow bones and were able to jump lengths of up to twenty tail lengths. Diveclan gained webbed paws and their third eyelid to help them dive into the lake and emerge into underwater caves. Tunnelclan was believed to be the most blessed of all, they received legs and paws strong enough to dick through any rock and dirt, and their extra toe on each foot helped them to scoop out larger tunnels so they could travel underground.
