Chapter 4

Hannah's P.O.V

Something's been bothering Bella ever since we went to the mall and watched Justice Crew perform. I can tell because she's been acting weirdly around me, almost as if she's scared of me and it's bugging me because I don't know what's wrong with her. I got changed into black leggings and an oversized t-shirt that had daisies forming a heart shape in the middle and went downstairs to see Bella sitting cross legged on the couch deep in thought.

"Hey Bella, you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking about something." she replied with a frown.

"Bella,can you please tell me what's wrong! I know something's been bothering you. Why won't you tell me?" I pleaded.

"Nothing's wrong Hannah, don't worry about me." She said dismissively as se stood up to walk past me.

"Bella, sit down. You know you can't run away from me now." I said.

"You know too well." She mumbled then sat back down on the couch.

"Now tell me, what's wrong?"

"Please don't get angry, please." She begged.

" I promise I won't get angry, now what's wrong?" I asked, curiosity obvious in my voice.

"How do you feel about Blake? After everything that had happened?" She asked very quietly.

"Why are you asking me this, you know how I feel about him." I said with a frown.

"Do you think you're ready to start looking for a guy to go out with?"

"I don't really know if I'm ready yet Bells, I don't want to get hurt again." I sighed. "Why?"

"You remember when we were at the mall and Justice Crew had just finished performing, right?"

"Yeah." I answered confused.

"Well, as we were walking away, I was stopped by someone. It was one of this twins, John. He um... well he asked for your number." She ask most whispered the last part.

"Did you give it to him?" I asked, panic quickly starting to rise inside of me.

"No I didn't cause I knew if I did then you would have gotten, well you know, panicky."

"And this is why you've been bothered for the past few days?"

"Well yeah." I went over and say down next to her.

"Bella, you know that you can tell me anything without being scared right? We live with each other for gods sake! You'll be stuck with me nagging you until you finally give in and have to tell me everything!" She laughed slightly. "Now, how does going to the mall and doing some shopping sound?"

"Sounds good to me!" She shouted, no longer feeling down but rather giddy.
