Behind The Razor

 People think they know me
They all call me emo
They believe that's my name
'Cause it's my clothing that shows

From my dyed black and green hair
To my converse high top shoes
To the black on my finger nails
And the tear drop hanging loose

My parents forget I'm there
So I just hide in my room
I blast the latest rock songs aloud
And my eyes just go bomb

The in my eyes
Fall down my cheeks as I cry
'Cause I know what the song is going through
I hope you know what it's going through too

'Cause I feel like I'm the outcast
And no one knows the truth
About the tattoos cut in my own blood
That my friends think are all cute

But they'll never know
About the razor blade
I dance with on my arm

The arms that don't feel pain
Or hurt when I cut it again
'Cause it's no longer an alarm

I watch it bleed
Sprinkling cells on the floor

I watch myself cry
And I can't wait till I finally die

And as time fades
The truth will never come in this razor blade
