Date day pt 1

Skyler's POV

I had awaken to the smell of breakfast and immediately felt my stomach grumble. I looked around and felt kinda bad for crashing at a stranger's house, but I needed it. I looked at the digital clock that read '11:04am' and groaned at the fact that I slept so late. I got up and went to the bathroom connected to the guest room as I quickly showered, brushed my teeth, and brushed my hair. I looked in the drawers and seen a big shirt with a pair of basketball shorts. I assumed that dev wouldn't mind and just put it on, I didn't really have a choice.

I walked outside of the guest room down the halls to the kitchen, "damn this house is big" I thought to myself. As I walked in the kitchen I seen a countertop full of pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, grits, oatmeal, waffles, toast, biscuits, and a bowl of fruit. "Wow.", I muttered, making dev turn around. "Daddy, who's her?" I looked down to see a little girl at his hip, staring at me with the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. "This is our new friend, Skyler. Skyler, this is my daughter, Daniele." "Hi Daniele, it's nice to meet you." I bent down to shake her hand but lost my balance as Daniele reached to give me a hug. "Hey! You wanna go play?" Before I could answer, dev picked her up, "nice try Dani, go pack the rest of your clothes for your stay at grandma's house." With that, she got off of him and ran up the stairs to do as she was told. "She is the cutest thing." "Thanks, I try. Anyway, eat up, I know you're starving, and we have a lot of shit to do today." I walked over and grabbed a plate as we continued to talk, "like what?" "Before I saved your ass, I wanted you. We're going to spend this day doing things and getting to know each other. I wanna get to know you." "Well okay.. I need different clothes to leave the house though.." he looked me up and down, smirking before he left the room. He came back with a bag that had an outfit in it. It consisted of a white cropped tank top, with a white button down jersey, dark washed blue jean shorts with white long socks and Air Force ones. All topped with a white bucket hat. This outfit was fly. "Well thanks a lot.. you didn't have to." "No problem ma, now go get dressed, it's 11:40 and we're leaving at 12.

I literally ran to the guest room before I took off those baggy clothes and applied lotion since I had already taken a shower. I grabbed the Victoria secret laced panties out of the bag and slipped them on along with the matching black bra. I took my hair out of the ponytail that I brushed it into earlier and let my long hair hang straight today. I applied little makeup, not knowing what to expect today, and put my clothes on, leaving the jersey unbuttoned. I finished the look with a little gold jewelry that I had on the night before. I brushed my teeth again and cleaned the room a bit before walking out. "Took you long enough, it's 12:10." "Oh shut up, girls need time" just then dani walked downstairs, "that's what I've been trying to tell you daddy!" At this, we giggled as we walked out of the house to his cars. We hoped into an all red drop top Porsche and took off. "Sooo where are we headed?" "Well first we gotta drop dani off, so to my moms. Then a girls favorite place, the mall." "Yayyyy the mall!" I said as he looked over and laughed. The rest of the ride was silent other than dani singing almost every song that came on. I liked her, she was a sweetheart, I wonder where her mom is though. My thoughts were interrupted when the engine stopped. "Come on, this is my mom's crib." I got out, a little scared but I pushed it to the side because we were just friends, it wasn't that serious. He used his key to unlock the door and let dani in first. "Now Devin boy what the hell did I tell you about bringing these chicks home all the time around dani?" I looked up to see a middle aged, mean looking women staring dead at me as she talked to dev. "Chill ma, she's a friend, no sexual intercourse." "What ever boy. Hey lil girl, you can call me Mrs.Diana." I forced a smile then replied with, "hi. I'm Skyler and I am not sleeping with your son." She giggled surprisingly, and pulled me into a hug. "Girl I'm just messing with you, wanted to see if you could handle mama D." I also laughed before saying, "you almost had me." After dev said his goodbyes to his mother and dani, I waved as we left the house. "That was weird..", I said as we hoped into the car. He looked over smiling, "don't mind her, she's a silly old woman."  With that he drove off, headed to the mall.
