we ended up settling with just going into a gas station and grabbing snacks rather than going into a restaurant and wasting driving time.
i parked the car, and we all filed into the deserted convenience store.
"oh my god they have them!" julia ran towards a shelf packed with plantain and banana chips.
deshreeni was grabbing bags of candy, while dylan looked through the chip aisle. keegan grabbed half a dozen bottles of iced tea, and i filled a plastic cup with iced coffee.
