The school

"Scarlett Johnson?" The teacher questioned the new name.

"Here ma'am." I spoke as I slid my hand up so she could see me.

"Ah the new student." She grinned. "Come here." She smiled gesturing up to her as I stood and walked to the front of the class. "Good my name is Miss. Parker and im your homeroom teacher." She introduced herself as she faced me towards the class. "Class this is our newest student Scarlett this is her first year here and she just moved in so I want you all to be nice and make her feel welcome."

Great... I thought to myself as I smiled brightly at the class putting on an act as I glanced around the class I frowned at a boy in the back with blond hair that was giving me a creepy look before I moved my attention and noticed the tall kid in the opposite side of the room smiling at me warmingly. He had dark jet black hair and deep ocean blue eyes that seemed to spark and crack with a certain amount of electricity. "Hey." I spoke softly not trying to conduct attention as the class stared at me and I shuffled my feet quietly trying to not make eye contact with any one as the teacher nodded before ushering me back to my seat.

"Keith I want you to show Miss. Johnson around the school make her feel welcome and at home ok." The teacher instructed as the dark haired boy in the corner nodded at her and then looked at me and grinned. This is gonna be a long day. I thought to myself as I shifted back forwards again and waited as the teacher started talking.

I may have drifted to sleep in class cause the next thing I knew the bell was ringing to dismiss us and like all my previous classes Keith was waiting for me as I walked out. "That's the last period of the day." He explained. "So if you wanna stay after I can show you around completely." He suggested and Scarlett shook her head.

"No thanks." She mumbled before she turned away from him to grab her stuff. She could tell he was frowning and she did her bet to ignore it before she felt bad. "Look ive just got a lot of unpacking to do so I think im just gonna walk home but thanks for the offer maybe ill take you up on it later." She explained and he smirked slightly and nodded agreeing with her as he stared down at the shorter girl.

"So shorty mind if I tag along and walk you home?" He asked curiously perking an eye brow as he looked at her.

"Um no thanks im good." She finished as she turned to leave before a warm large hand grabbed her forarm and she glanced back at him. "Yes...?" She questioned confused.

"Please just let me tag along." He pleaded. "Id feel much better if I knew youd gotten home safe." He explained and she actually thought about it before shaking her head and tugging her arm free as he gently let it go.

"I don't think so but thanks for the offer though." She spoke trying to be polite as she stepped away and towards the front of the school ready to leave.
