"I still don't understand why we're going to this party anyway. You know it isn't going to end well. I'm telling you I have a bad feeling about this." I rolled my eyes at AJ complaining, once again. "Girl, chill. You don't know that. We could actually enjoy ourselves tonight." I say while putting my Bestfriend necklace AJ bought me. AJ scoffed and stood beside me, leaning against the dresser, "Lets do the math. You, me, and Casey in thee same house? Girl please! And we both know that she's going to be all up on Craig-"
"Craig isn't coming." She raised an eyebrow. "You didn't tell him that we were going to Casey's stupid party?" I sighed and shook my head no. "And for the record all parties aren't stupid."
"All my experiences tell me differently." She shrugged while putting on the best friend bracelet I bought. "Whatever, let's go." I check my outfit in the mirror before grabbing my phone and heading out with AJ behind me. I wrote a quick letter to my mom telling her where I was going to be and the time I should be home. Yesterday she freaked out when I went to the mall without a note or something. My mom lectured me for about a good 45 minutes on how I needed to inform her where I was going just incase something happened to me. You'd think I was 6 instead of 16. I think the fact that we came home kind of late was the reason.
After neatly writting "much love" on my finished note I put it on the fridge and headed out the door to be greeted by Craig. "What are you doing here?" I asked closing the door behind me. "Oh so you don't wanna see me? That hurts right here." He says putting his hand on his chest. I chuckled a bit, "Baby your heart is on the other side."
"Oh, I knew that." He said resting his arm on my shoulder. "Whatever, but seriously what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to spend the day with you. Looks like you have plans already though. Where you going?" He asked. "Um, er..."
"Come on Kira," AJ said coming out the house and closing the door, "lets go to the p-" she stopped herself when she saw Craig. "To the where?" Craig asked. "Place."
"Kira, just tell me where you're going?" I mentally debated whether on not to tell him. I really don't want him to know that I'm going to a party, because then he's going to want to go. I can't risk that with Casey slick self, but I don't want to lie to him. "Fine, I'm going to a party." I finally say. "Oh, I wanna come."
"No you don't."
"And why not?"
"Because...becauseee-"
"Ugh, because it's Casey's party!" AJ interrupted. Who told this child to say anything? I didn't. "Thanks AJ." i mumbled sending her a glare. Craig frowned a bit. "You and Casey in the same house? That's dangerous." I sighed and explained the whole story about seeing Mikayla at the mall and her inviting me. "Ohhhh, well I'm going."
"Why do you want to go?" I asked confused. "Is Devon going to be there?" I shrugged, "Maybe. I don't know."
"Well, just in case he is, I'm going."
"I can handle myself."
"I never said you couldn't, but I'm going to that party with you."
"Bu-but it's Casey's party! She's going to try and take you from me!"
"Well that's too bad, because I don't want Casey, okay?" I sighed and nodded. "Alright."
"Sooo...can we go now?" AJ asked. "Yeah."
AJPOV
-Casey's House
I sighed when Casey's house came into view. I don't have a good feeling about this party, but who listens to AJ? No one that's who. I don't even know why I'm here, I am not a party person. "Come on slow poke, the party is going to be over by the time you get to the door." Kira said jokingly. "Ha ha ha, that's hilarious." I replied sarcastically and I sped up my walking pace a bit. I walked in the house after Kira and I will admit that the party was hype. Everybody seemed like they was having a good time. Casey may not be a good person, but she knows how to throw a party.
