P.O.V Samantha
My mom left a note on the kitchen table saying 'have a good day at your new school, your dad would be proud.' I put down the note and made myself some eggs and waited for the bus to come. I slowly walked out of my house and noticed my friend, Jerome, walked up to me and we smiled at each other.
"Hey what's up." he asked me, when he got close enough. "Nothing much." I told him back. "Ready for the new school?" he asked me. I smiled at him and nodded. "Ya, I am happy that you are going to be with me." Jerome nodded and looked at the bus that was coming. We both climbed onto the bus and went to the back of it.
P.O.V Jerome
After we walked to the back of the bus, I read the note that my mom gave me. I couldn't believe that I wasn't born a 'human'. I looked at Samantha, she was the one thing our kind feared. I looked at all of the kids who sat near me. Bajan's are the kind if creatures who kill my kind, Bacca's.
