Tears fill your eyes
And it's hard to swallow.
Nothing makes sense.
A knife in one hand
A feeling in the other
You sob and blubber
In a fit of a numb cry.
Now hush my child.
Keep that feeling
Now drop the knife
Now hush your thoughts
And hush your tears.
Quite, quiet.
Today is not the day.
Not that day, oh no.
Not today.
Nor tomorrow.
Hush those negative thoughts
Those bad feelings.
Pick up that knife.
And use that feeling.
No more blood.
No more tears.
It is time to rise.
Hush those who oppose.
Use that knife from before ago.
Raise it high.
And say.
" I survive."
Now, with that I say.
Use that power you have.
Help others on what you had.
Help them hush their chaotic thoughts.
Hush their dreary trot.
I had the power to hush those feelings.
We all do.
When you hush a feeling, it's always gone for good.
