Its been years. I haven't seen my dad for years. We used to be so close, I miss him. Its been nearly 13 years since my life changed. I guess I didn't know how different my life would be without him. They always say treasure the moments you have because you never know when everything could change. I live by this quote. I just want to be able to see my dad again. And that boy. Nathan? FLASHBACK
I ran as fast as I could, he was catching up to me, I couldn't go any faster. I kept looking behind to see how close he was. Then smack. My head hit the cold hard floor. "TIG, I GOT YOU I GOT YOU" I was lay on the floor not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Nathan helped me up. We started walking back to my house. I had so much fun today I don't want it to end! Me and Nathan sat down on the beanbags drinking our capri-suns, watching tele. He kept looking at me and then looking away. All sorts of questions went through my head. "Nath why do you-" He cut me off and asked me a question. "Maddie, do you think we will be best friends forever?" "Of course we will Nath"
