chapter 1-(pic of dakota)

Dakota's pov

"Dakota...... Dakota .....wake up Dakota" said Justin

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh" I scream

I cried and cried while Justin held me. This happens almost every night its always the same, doesn't matter what they do always the same.

"Ok I think its time we are going to move to Wisconsin"said Justin

"ww-when, ww-why"I said

"Because we all need a new start and tomorrow"

" oo-ok"

"Now try to get some sleep its just over 2 o'clock in the morning"

" oo-ok yy-you to love you"

"Love you to Dakota" Once Justin leaves i just lay there thinking about the past.

~Flashback~

I was at the hospital for at least 2 1/2 hours when the one of the cops said that they had found my big brother and he was on his way he would be here in about an hour. I had finally calmed down enough to let the doctors check me out. I had a few broken ribs, a broken leg, and bruises and cuts covering my whole body. They cleaned me up put my leg in a cast and cleaned any open wounds, and I was given pain killers for my ribs. By the time they where done my brother had gotten here, he was in the waiting room with his mate Katrina (I had meet her once or twice) they were being told what had happened. When the doctors where done they both came in my room I was so scared because I hadn't seen either of them for about a year and a half and with what had happened in the past few months I was scared to death. "Hi Dakota"said Justin I couldn't say anything I was scared frozen in place then I started to convulse I remember hearing Justin yelling for a doctor and Katrina crying, that is when I blacked out. When I started to come to their was a doctor and a nurse along with Justin and Katrina . their was an IV in my arm. The doctor was the first to speak" Dakota do you remember what happened" I shook my head no I was really scared." you had a seizure and passed out we gave you medication to help " said the doctor I nodded my head as OK. The doctor checked me out again and said that I need to stay for a day or two for observation,then he left along with the two nurses. Justin said he would stay with me and I had settled down enough so I wasn't as afraid of him and Katrina so i whispered "OK" they were surprised they were told I hadn't said one word since I came here Justin smiled. Throughout those two days I had come out of my shell a little and had short conversations with Justin and Katrina but if someone else were to come in I would freeze and become extremely shy until they leave, I also had at least 5 more seizures I was diagnosed with epilepsy( probably from a injury to the head from my uncles beatings)and put on medication. I was able to go home with my brother and Katrina since I had no other relatives he said he would take me in.

~ flash back end~

They had taken me in when I wasn't even their problem I had started my whole life over. Justin was only 20 years old at the time and Katrina was 19. But they took me in helped me settle in. We bought new cloths, a new bed, new everything. I was thankful for everything,but I was still really shy and rarely talked. My epilepsy was under control with the medicine that I took every morning when I got up. But then their was school I had dyslexia so it was harder to learn and I was scared of every one,but homeschooling wasn't a option. Justin works all day at a mechanic shop and goes to school online and Katrina goes to college then cooks and cleans shops and holds a part time job at a coffee shop. It was also really hard to teach someone with dyslexia. So the following school year i had to go to school. Justin and Katrina were both worried but I told them I would be fine. I took a test to see if I needed to be held back a year but i was actually able to stay with my grade. Even though I was terrified I hardly talked but got bullied for being so shy. They didn't know the meaning behind my shyness so they just decided to bully. I never told Justin or Katrina about it though I just suffered it in silence.As for me being a werewolf most shift on their 16th birthday like Justin did (just so you know Katrina isn't a werewolf but she knows all about them because she is Justin's mate) my 16th birthday was 2 months ago and I still haven't been able to shift. Justin said that I might be a late bloomer because of all i'v gone threw, I just hope I can shift soon.
