TWENTY
My wake up call the next morning had to have been the best I'd had in my entire life. I slowly woke up, with my eyes still closed, and smiled reaching for the hand underneath the covers and pulling up the body that was connected to it. I widened my smile when I felt his lips on mine.
"Good morning," he murmured against my lips, supporting his body by the forearms he rested on either side of my face. "I can get used to waking up like this every day."
I pursed my lips. "Hmm, I disagree. I don't want to be on the bottom all the time."
He paused letting the double meaning sink in. I opened my eyes to see a look of lust and fervor in his beautiful pair of hazel eyes which looked darker at the current moment.
"You little tempting diva," he growled, claiming my lips and giving me a kiss that over qualified for a casual morning kiss.
I pushed him off of me and rolled under him to the edge of the bed. I stretched my arms out wide being comfortable around Caleb so soon after only one night.
"We've got a long day ahead of us," I reminded him picking up a towel draped over the back of a chair that I had let dry yesterday.
"Whoa, not so fast," he told me in that sexy husky voice of his. He caught me around the waist pulling me back. "We still have one more hour."
I laughed. "An hour that'll turn to more. You know as well as I do that if we don't get out now, we never will." I placed my hands over his and slowly unclasped them.
"Mmm, then let's see if that theory works." He picked me up from the floor and placed me back to where I started off. He crawled over me, moving the stray hairs from my face.
"It's not a theory that we're suppose to try," I told him but giving in to him as I initiated the kiss that did, in fact, turn to much more.

The last two days of the convention were a total blast. I was blown away by the speakers and the rest of the exhibitions Caleb and I went to. I was like a kid on Christmas day. Thankfully, there were no more run-ins with Jeff. After the first night at the restaurant, I didn't want to face him.
"I don't want to leave," I said wishfully to Caleb as he helped the taxi driver take our things from the trunk of the cab.
We were at the airport with a flight to San Francisco for his sister's birthday slash graduation. Throughout the process to get to the gate, I could tell Caleb was happy to see his family again. He was in one of his very contagious good moods.
"You look so happy," I stated pinching his cheek like a little child.
He glanced down at me with one of his smiles. He performed the same movement as I did seconds ago. "And you seem to be a little down."
I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulder. "I'm just tired."
He raised his eyebrow, not believing a word I said.
"Fine," I gave up knowing he was one of the few people I could use my lying skills to. "I'm a bit ...nervous meeting your family. I don't know how they'll react to me."
Caleb smiled understandingly. "They'll love you," he dropped a kiss on my lips. "There's nothing to worry about, okay?"
I hope you're right.
Even though there wasn't a huge holiday or a weekday, the airport was still busy as ever. The flight we were taking to San Francisco was packed full of passengers. I wondered to myself what other people's plans were for traveling.
