I open my eyes to complete darkness surrounding me. I shiver, wondering why my clothes are cold and damp. My limbs are numb and aching, so I decide that I should probably try to stand up. I place my hands on the ground for support and feel the familiar itchiness of grass intertwining with my fingers. I stretch while standing up as my vision adjusts to the dark. There are many enormous trees that grow all the way up into the sky with branches that seem to be reaching out for something very far away. I notice the sky is beautifully patched with sparkling stars. I turn my focus back to the earth. I find a narrow dirt path leading to a faint light flickering in the distance. I slowly make my way to the light, stumbling on roots and rocks along the way. When I reach the light, a boy, holding a torch, is pointing a rather large knife directly at my throat..
