"Mum!" Stella yells as her running steps echo on the stone floors of her home. She runs to her mum's office careful to avoid the trick steps. Stella falls on her bum after she runs into the scary potions master. "Should you not be with the first years?" Severus drawls.

Stella gets to her feet. " I-I was coming to tell mum that they are almost here." she stutters as she moves her black hair out of her pale face.

She keeps her eyes on the floor. "Very well. Be careful Ms.Black," he says gently. She looks up with slight amazement but then slides her mask back on. "Yes sir. Thank you sir," she blurts before she dashes towards her mum's office.

McGonagall stands and puts her hands on her hips when Stella enters. "How many times do I have to tell you not to run in the castle?" she scolds.

"Sorry mum. I got excited. Everyone is on their way and it is my first year!" Stella says excitedly as she regains her breath.

She smiles and walks over to Stella. "I could not possibly forget that," she says as she straightens her uniform. "We need to go where we are needed. Hagrid will take you to the boats if you go to his cabin," she informs.

Stella grins and bounces on the balls of her feet and Professor McGonagall chuckles. " I want you to be on your best behavior. And remember the rules we talked about," she says and pauses. " Now you can go." she adds.

Stella walks calmly towards the door and stops before she leaves. " Thank you, mummy," Stella says with a smile as she closes the door.

She runs as fast as she can to Hagrid's cabin. The fresh mountain air fills her lungs and Stella feels like she's flying.Joy overwhelms her and her hair has streaks of bright yellow. Then all of sudden she crashes into Hagrid. "Owwwwww." Stella groans and open her eyes. He picks her up and sets her on my feet. "'Ello to you too, Stella," he greets.

"We need to stop running into each other like that," Stella teases as she dusts herself off. He laughs and she smile up at him. "Hagrid, can I ask you something? Did you know my parents?" she asks as they walk.

He frowns. " I know many parents. And yes I did know your parents," he says and she knows that she will not get anything else from him. They walk in silence for the rest of the journey to Hogsmeade station. Stella goes ahead and gets into the boat and zones out.

"Who are you?" a red headed boy asks as his double sits next to him. Stella jumps at the violent crash of her train of thought. " I... I am St- stella Black," she introduces herself.

"I am Fred and this is George," the supposed Fred said. 'I wonder if she'll figure out it is the other way around.' Fred thought.

Her eyes widen when she hears his thoughts. " You okay, Star?" George asks. She looks at him. "Oh... erm... yes I am good." She stutters. The boats begin to move.

"Wow... Fred, look at Hogwarts," a boy with dreads says. He looks towards the castle and his jaw drops. George has the same look on his face. She smiles at the giant castle that is Hogwarts. "Everytime I see it, it is still amazing." She mumbles.

No one catches that. Everyone is so mesmerized by the castle no one notices a merperson sneaking up behind her .She shrieks as sharp nails dig into her ribs and pulls her under. The cold water envelops her body and lake water rushes into my mouth. As she loses consciousness she returns to her base form. The light dims as a honey colored haired boy dives in to get her.
