It was a normal day at (name of school) for Daichi as he walked around to his classes, there had been rumors that there'd be a new kid but he really didn't listen to everyone and their gossip. Daichi was on his way to one of his classes when he noticed a girl running down the hallway and by the looks of it she wasn't going to stop running until whoever or whatever was chasing her stopped. He grabbed the girls arm gently to stop her and asked, "why are you running?" The girl simply looked at him and took deep breaths as she spoke quietly. "T-they're coming I gotta go before they get me!" Hearing this Daichi took it into his hands to make sure "they" didn't get her. "Don't worry I'll protect you." He told the girl who smiled. "That's nice of you but you don't wanna mess with them." Just as she said that a group of bullies came running to beat her up. "Stop running or I'll make you all fall on your heads." Daichi told them and they stopped and looked at each other. "What're you gonna do?!" The second tallest out of them asked and the bullies and Daichi started fighting as Hayden (the girl) took off to hide somewhere. On of the bullies noticed and cussed under his breath and went after her but Daichi didn't let that happen and eventually made the bullies give up and walk off. "We'll just get her when he's not around." They muttered and walked off. Daichi went to the girl and smiled at her. "I guess I'm gonna have to be around you from now on if you want them to go away, I'm Daichi by the way." He held a hand out to the girl. "I'm H-Hayden.." she stuttered out and shook his hand, smiling happily cause never in her life has someone ever done that for her except for Daichi.
