Taylor is currently sitting upon her ebony throne in a lazy position, her legs are spread and she is swirling wine around in a glass.

The room is shrouded in darkness and her servants stand alert awaiting her command. She keeps herself from humming a tune she thought of after making eye contact with one of her lovelier apprentices, Dianna.

Dianna was everything Taylor had ever wanted. She was gorgeous with green eyes to die for and a smile that could turn the kindest man bad.

In Taylor's case, Dianna could even make her consider giving up killing people for fun.

Taylor's favoring of Dianna was dangerous. It had gotten to the point where all she would think about was using the Force to have Dianna at her mercy. Even if just for a night.

All of the other apprentices had a wide suspicion of Taylor's admiration for Dianna, but they never spoke of it. If Taylor wanted to be seen a certain way, then that's who she was as far as the public was concerned.

Taylor convinced herself that Dianna could be good for her, maybe Taylor even deserved a break. The Rebel Alliance was failing daily to infiltrate the Empire's base and Taylor was getting bored of waiting for something to happen.

Every night, she had slept alone just wishing somebody would get her to open up. Taylor thought it was pathetic for her to be thinking of Dianna this way; she hardly knew the girl.

Taylor arose from her throne and knocked back the remnants of her wineglass. She had an idea.

Strutting through the corridors, she passed by many stormtroopers that cowered from her in fear. Her heels clicked with an aura of dominance and her black cape dragged along the stone floors. Taylor smirked at her power and with a rushed turn of a corner, she was at the door of Dianna's chambers.

Taylor flicked her hand to the right and the door opened. She had no need to knock as the whole building and everyone in it was at her command.

Dianna was sitting on her bed, fiddling with an old polaroid camera that was probably found in the sands of the desert planet Jakku. She looked up and immediately grinned at the sight of Taylor's dark presence.

Taylor just stared in response.

"Am I in trouble or something?" Dianna laughed with a half smile, and Taylor somewhat relaxed at the sound of it.

"What, am I not allowed to see my apprentices? It is my will to see you whenever I want," Taylor replied, not yet sitting down but opting to stand over Dianna instead.

"Taylor... I saw you two days ago. We're seeing each other tomorrow anyways," Dianna rolled her eyes and threw her camera off to the side of the bed.

She scooted back on the mattress and rested against the headboard, almost daring Taylor to come closer.

All Taylor did was release a sigh of frustration and shift her weight to her right leg. Dianna raised an eyebrow at the sight of her emperor's defeat.

Silence fell over the two of them. Taylor had never had a crush and Dianna was curious to see where the night would go.

The alcohol in Taylor's system hardly had an effect on her as she was still tense and her heart was beating fast.

"I can feel your anger from here, miss bossy pants. Gosh, everyone on the dark side is so moody it's hilarious. You're all so uptight and you never have any fun. You rule the galaxy and all you do is sulk around, Taylor," Dianna giggled.

Even though she was playing around, Taylor still felt her jaw and fists tighten at her words.

Taylor remained a statue and Dianna had the sudden urge to take it even further. She walked on her knees to the edge of the bed, and pulled Taylor's fingers out of the fist they were making while lifting a gentle hand to caress Taylor's cheek.

"I have a feeling you're not as bad as you make yourself out to be..." Dianna sighed and sat up on her knees, leaning in towards Taylor's lips.

Taylor's response was out of pure instinct. She snatched her hand out Dianna's grasp, and with a scowl she used the Force to strangle Dianna.

Dianna's hands panicked and reached for whatever was around her neck, but nothing was there. Taylor gasped, releasing Dianna from her hold and storming out of the room from embarrassment.

How could she possibly ever open up to somebody without hurting them? Or worse, without hurting everything she had worked so hard for?

With the shake of her head she walked back to her throne room. She would be needing more wine.
