Chapter 1: The Beginning

2 Months Earlier

*Gage's P.O.V.*

 There was a lot of tension between Kayden and I. Romantic tension. I had come to the realization. I loved Kayden, my best friend, my family, my soulmate.  I walked up to my mirror and said to myself "I love Kayden". Shivers ran down my spine. I've come to accept my feelings. We had been the best of friends for 9 months. We shared everything. I could feel my anxiety taking over again. "Deep breathes, deep breathes" I mumbled to myself. "Come on Gage, get your act together!" I said to myself. I straightened my t-shirt. "Lets go". I grabbed my phone and headed out to the bus stop. When the bus arrived I got on quietly and headed to school. When I got to school Kayden greeted me and then we went to class. After Class we went to his house. His family wasn't home and he forgot his keys so we just sat on the lawn. After some dreaded silence I finally got up some courage. "So..." I stuttered. "What should we do?" I said. "Maybe we could go to an mall?" Kayden said. "OMG I HEARD THEY GOT A NEW HAIR DYE SHOP THERE" I shouted. I had wanted to go there for awhile and I had just received some money from my mom. I was also running out of hair dye. If I ran out it would be tragic. I need my hair dye.

*Kaydens P.O.V.*

I woke up by the sound of my brother yelling. Shit, i'm late. I quickly ran out of my room but something drew my eyes back in. The picture of me and Gage. Gah, how do I start with Gage. He's amazing for one. Ugh I forgot, feelings. Every time I think about him. I've had a crush on Gage ever since we met, but lately my feelings have grown stronger and stronger. I have to do something about this. Before anyone else claims him as their own. I need him in my life.  Forever.
