My back throbs as I wake from my wrestles slumber. The cold nips at my bare features but it feels good to me. I hear the deep breaths of Aristaeus sleeping on the carpet and the dream filled grunts and growls he gives when he is dreaming a good dream. The birds are chirping and random creatures are making their sounds of harmony. I inch my way off the bed trying not to wake Aristaeus but he whips his head up and growls, but instantly looks happy after seeing me. He turns to his humanoid being and turns me around, lifts my shirt, and examines my back.
We never thought of each other as lovers and we still don't. He traces the wound with his finger and I growl, he stops. He pulls my shirt back down and opens the window, letting fresh air in. I take a beep breath and sit against my bed, the chilling air seemed to calm both me and him. He looked out the window and he seemed in a daze, a thought filled, focused daze. He soon looked away from the window and back at me, his features stood out in the sunrise. His pale skin seemed to glow in the dusty orange light, his grape eyes looked like they were mixed with gold. His lips were a pale pink and were, what seemed to be, smooth, his hair looked like it was a very light wheat on the side facing the window and the other side was shades of white and light grey. He looked at me contently and smiled. I smiled back and stood up, I started to walk out the door but he caught my arm, "what do you want, I can get it for you." He says worriedly. I chuckle, "just the normal breakfast for me" I say. He nods and walks out the door. I grab a book from the dresser and read the title, 'let's watch this city burn' by Savarya. I prop my back up on some pillows and begin too read. I be careful not to cut the pages due to my clawlike nails. A few minutes later Aristaeus opens the door and he has about three plates off food on one arm and two drinks in his other hand, "thank you waiter Aristaeus." He snickers at the nickname and hands me my food and drink, "I do try my best" he winks at me. I role my eyes and set my book down, Aristaeus is sitting in a chair already eating his food. I begin to eat but my hunger departs me sooner than it should have. I sigh and lay back against the pillows and fall into a deep sleep.

I look over at Karael with worry. She hasn't woken up in a week, we all have some sort of panic now, and since most of us are called out for business we can't take care of her often. But we still haft to try.
The healers say that their was some sort of poison on the blade.

I curl my fingers and stretch, about to head out when I hear a crash from ,what is now, Karael's room. I race upstairs and open the door, the rooms a mess and Karael isn't here. I begin to panic as I race downstairs and tell Lilly, the girl Karael seems to dislike. She somewhat panics but be both don't know what to do.
