Winter Love (Larry Stylinson short story)

Chapter 3

Harry and Louis walked to their next destination while making a pit stop at Peet's Coffee. After buying coffee for the walk, they continued. The two boys had their hoods up just incase any fans come by and the last thing they needed on their day off was a mob of fans surrounding them. They love their fans a lot, but its just that Harry and Louis didn't want any distractions for their snow day. Today was just Lou and Haz's snow day, as Louis called it.

Their destination was about 10 minutes day as Louis said. After a minute Harry realized  that he didn't know where they were going and was just following Louis.

"Erm..Louis?"

"Yes Haz?" 

"You never told me where we were going."

"Its a surprise." Louis said with a mischevious smirk.

Harry pondered over what the surprise would be. There were many things Louis could take Harry. After a couple minutes they reached their destination.

"We're here." Louis said with little grin. Harry took his hood off to look at the place and when he did he gasped in shock. 

"You remembered." He whispered. 

Louis brought Harry to the Winter fair. Harry asked him to take him last year but because of the tour they didn't have the chance. This was on the younger boy's bucket list for this year. 

"Of course I did Haz. Cause I- You're my best mate. I always remember your little wishes."

Harry frowned a litte when he called him his best mate but decided to just focus on the fact that Louis actually remembered. He didn't notice the older boy's change in words when he said that and gave him a sudden hug.

Louis hugged him back a little taken aback by the unexpected hug.

"Thank you Lou." Harry said and then broke the hug and walked to the booth with Louis to get their tickets. When the two boys went inside the fair they looked at it and the rides mentally noting each one that they have to ride.

As Harry started to walk more into the fair, Louis stopped him.

"Harry put your hood back on. We don't want to get mobbed again."

"Right, thanks Lou." Harry quickly put his hood on remembering the time a couple months ago when the two boys got mobbed when they were in the theater when their movie was over. Luckily Zayn and his girlfriend Perrie were 2 minutes away from them so the couple pulled up their car in front of the theater. Zayn had a beanie on and wore Perrie's sunglasses to not get recognized and went inside to get the boys.

Harry was lost in the mob and even started crying but luckily Louis rescued him. When they were in the car, he tried to console the frightened boy with Perrie's help.  Harry was upset for the rest of the day and at night Louis cuddled the younger boy to sleep and by the next morning he was feeling better.

Harry and Louis walked to one of the rides which was the carousel. "Come on Lou!" Harry said as he dragged the older boy to the ride. Louis laughed at his childishness and gave the person who was managing the ride two tickets and hopped on a horse beside Harry who was taking a selfie. He smiled at him and then Harry turned the camera to him.

"Lou say cheese!"

Louis stuck his tongue out and Harry just giggled. Then the ride started. Harry started to make faces at Louis who was taking pictures at the goofy boy. The two boys just enjoyed the ride and eachother's company. After a minute of silly faces the ride was over and Harry groaned.

"Come on Haz! There are more rides in the park." Louis said to the whining lad.

"Fine. Let's eat something first." Harry said and Louis nodded in agreement.

They stopped at a stall that was selling hot dogs. "Two hot dogs and small drinks." Louis asked and then payed for the food. He took the food and drinks to Harry and took a bite of his hot dog.

"Lou you didn't have to pay for the food. You already payed for tickets."

"No Harry. This is my surprise and I'm going to pay for all of it."

"But-"

"No. Now eat your hot dog before it turns cold." Louis said and Harry just obeyed him and ate his hot dog. While eating he remembered that he had to confess his feelings to Louis. Harry promised himself by the end of the day he would do this. He hoped that Louis wouldn't avoid him after his confession but he knew because Louis was straight and only Eleanor was his one true love.

Eleanor is Louis' ex girlfriend and after she broke up with him he was broken. It took him a month to get over it (Harry had a feeling he wasn't)  The reason why she broke up with him was because she thought that he was gay and that he was in a relationship with Harry. It was true that Louis was more closer with Harry than anyone else in the world but he was most defiantly not gay.

Eleanor said that she didn't want to be in a relationship with a gay guy and that Louis should find a man rather than a woman. Louis was broken after this and wouldn't leave his room for a week. For the first two nights after the break up Harry kept a distance from Louis feeling that it was his fault for the breakup. After the third day, Harry heard sniffling and Louis came in his room. The older boy said he needed company and Harry let him stay the night. Through the whole month Louis slept in Harry's room or some nights Harry would sleep in Louis'. Zayn, Niall, and Liam tried to mend Louis' broken heart and helped Harry with him.

He was feeling better after a month and was more active on twitter because the fans helped him be in a happy mood. After that Louis said that he isn't going to fall in love again and it won't happen cause Eleanor was his only true love and even after the boys tried to pair Louis up with a girl. Louis always said it was no use finding a girl for him. Harry was upset that he couldn't have Louis and always talked to the lads especially Niall and that's when he decided to confess his feelings.

"Haz lets go." Louis said as he threw his empty can of soda and garbage. Harry did the same and then the two lads went to some more rides and that's when Harry decided knew when to confess his feelings.

When he and Louis were on the Ferris Wheel.
