A scream echoed throughout the whole base making you jump standing alert.

"What the hell...?" You hear Kitten say, her eyes wide. You ease up once you realize who the scream came from. Nightfury had done something to one of your female guards. That was the only time someone would scream. All of a sudden the doors swung open and Ty barged through them his wings and tail out, and his eyes wide in horror.

"Are you two ok!? What happened!? Is there an intruder!?" The words spilled from his mouth and you chuckled.

"Ty, calm down, no one is hurt, Nightfury pulled a prank on one of my guards." You say softly. Ty nods coming over to stand by you. You look up hearing Kitten try hiding a giggle.

"What?" You ask. She points to your mage mumbling a spell, then up above you and Ty. You look up and your face goes red at seeing the little mistletoe branch above you two, Seeing as how you thought Ty hadn't noticed you shrugged. But apparently he did, because next thing you knew his lips where smashed against yours in a hot, hard, and deep loving kiss, making you melt into it. You hear a squeal come from Kitten and a laugh coming from Nightfury. But not even caring you continued to kiss the hybrid. The hard part was breaking away from the kiss.

(New years 2 minutes till midnight in the story)

It had been a long night so far, the food, drinks, and lack of sleep where starting to take a toll on you. You where sleepy, slightly tipsy, and hungry. Ty was having a ball laughing and watching as you mumbled random things and stumbled slightly to the food bar that had been set up. All of a sudden you hear someone yell.

"ONE MINUTE TILL MIDNIGHT!!" they yell. You grunted and walked over to Ty, clinging to the male for stability so you didn't fall from dizzy spell. He gave a chuckle and smiled at you. And that's when the count down started.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone screamed. You being tipsy, did the only logical thing you could thing of at the time, you kissed Ty, in front of everybody. A smile pressing it way to both of your faces as you kissed. Breaking away you giggled a little and stumbled. Ty instantly grabbing you to support you.
