Authors Note: Hey guys. So obviously I don't own Twilight. The only thing I own is my OC. Apologies for any incorrect grammar or spelling. Comment if you like. And please no hating. I am going by the movies mostly but will have some stuff from the books in there.

Ten years ago

"Lyanna, dinners ready." My mom called. I came running down from my bedroom in the loft. "Mom when's dad getting home? I want to show him the fort I built." She smiled as she set the casserole dish down. "He should be home any minute." Just at that moment he came in through the door. "Dad!" I ran to him and hugged him. I had never asked why dad walked around without a shirt on. Even when it was freezing out he never wore a shirt. I had seen afew months ago why he never did. He was a werewolf. His body temperature was high so he didn't need to worry about being cold. "Hey amada. (Sweetheart)" He came and sat down at the little table that we had. We were eating dinner and I was telling dad all about the fort I had built in my room. He was excited to see it. Mom and I were cleaning up dishes after dinner and I was wanting to hurry up so that I could show dad the fort. I was rushing to be able to show dad my fort before bed when we heard something outside. Dad came in from outside and immediately we could tell something was wrong. "Serena, they're here." Mom was already pale to begin with. But I saw her turn whiter than a ghost. She grabbed my hand. "Lyanna,  we need you to hide." She pulled  a couple floor boards up in the corner of the kitchen. I hadn't even known that we had that. She motioned for me to get inside. There was a small opening with steep stairs. I could see the bottom and that there was a tunnel. Dad turned me to him. "Amada, no matter what you hear. Don't come out of there until either we come get you, or it's quiet. If it's quiet follow the tunnel." He hugged me and kissed my forehead. "Papa, I'm scared." He gave a sad smile. "I know. Remember you have the strength in you to survive. Eu te amo (I love you)" He then stood up and walked out of the kitchen. Mom turned me to her. She gave me her necklace. "Promise me you won't come out. No matter what." I nodded. A single tear slid down her perfect cheek. She kissed my cheek and hugged me. "I love you." Dad came in and motioned to hurry. I went into the hole.

Mom had closed the hole behind me and had ran to go to the other room. Seconds later I heard the front door crash open. I heard a woman's voice. I had never heard anyone sound so scary. "You honestly thought that we wouldn't find you. The Voltori has spy's all over and having an abomination is a danger to all of us. Never mind the fact that you seem to have a relationship with this dog." I heard a growl. Then my mom spoke up. "We had no intention of hiding. So either leave or get your orders done." There was a laugh. A type that had no humor to it. "Very well. Felix, Demetri, Alec." I heard my dad roar and the sounds of a fight. I heard things that would haunt me for years to come. The sound of bones being crushed, flesh being torn, furniture crashing, and then finally, silence. Moments passed, then I heard heeled shoes walking on the floor above me. There was a small sliver in the floor. Barely a 1/4 inch wide but enough to see through if you pushed your face against it. I saw a blond lady standing just above me. She was sniffing the air. "What is it sister?" She hesitated a moment. I held my breath and covered my mouth. "Nothing, probably just the stench of that dog, and what they must have done in this shack they called a home." She walked away and was followed by the one who called her sister. "Let's go home. Burn this place to the ground." Hearing that I knew that I needed to leave. Running at full speed down the tunnel it led to an opening by a waterfall. I was surrounded by the forest. Hopefully they wouldn't find me.

Present Day

I was walking home from work and was looking forward to being able to enjoy my pizza and a movie.  It was around nine o'clock at night and I was walking my usual route and was about ten minutes from home when a guy stepped in front of me. "Excuse me, I seem to be looking for someone." I rolled my eyes. "Well it's a big city, I doubt I'd know them." I tried to step around them. He blocked my way. "I think that you do. She looks just like you." I heard someone behind me and they grabbed me. They shoved me against the wall of the building I had been walking along. I pushed back using the strength that normal people would use. They didn't let go. There was three of them and one of me. Definitely uneven odds. The one guy went to tear my shirt when I used his loosened grip to my advantage. Head-butting him in the face I knocked him back.  I elbowed the next guy in the throat and pushed off the wall. The last guy pulled a knife out. "Really?" I rolled my eyes. He tried to cut me. But I deflected and wrapped my arm around his. Forcing his arm upward in the middle I heard a bone break. He fell to the ground clutching his arm. Hearing something behind me I turned in time to see the guy I had head-butted I did a quick roundhouse kick to his head. Knocking him unconscious. The final guy, the one I had elbowed in the throat stood up. He had his arms up in a fighting position. He tried to do a jab at my face. I easily deflected it and spun around elbowing him in the face. I heard a satisfying crunching sound. In total there was a bruised trachea, bruised forehead, broken arm, concussion, and broken nose, among other things.

Reaching my apartment I locked the door behind me. Not because I was scared of being attacked but because that was one more defense against anyone that would try to. Growing up having to survive on lies and my inner strength I learned quickly to trust no one. Foster families didn't care and I had to resort to raising myself. Picking a movie I chose 'X2' I wasn't one for chick flicks. The occasional one was fine but I preferred a  good action comedy. After the movie I got ready for bed. While brushing my teeth I could hear the couple down the hall screaming at each other. Even with the decent soundproofing of the walls I could still hear it with my heightened senses.

Next Day

I woke up around 7. I got ready for my usual day. I had decided on yoga pants, blue tank top, and a leather jacket. It wasn't far to walk to work and even after last night it didn't scare me. I arrived at work around 8:40 am. We didn't open until 9, but I liked to be early. I was a trainer at a gym. Why not use my abnormal endurance to help other people. Caroline at the front desk gave me a smile. She was 21 with blond hair and blue eyes. Very opposite to me with my brown hair and brown eyes. At 9 we opened and I proceeded to help people train, teach classes and answer questions.

It was the middle of the afternoon when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around I saw a short lady with a pixie haircut, and gold eyes. I smelt her and instantly was on edge. There were to many people here to be able to do anything without people noticing. With as much confidence as I could muster I spoke. "Can I help you?" She smiled a very broad smile. "I sure hope so. Mind if we speak in private?" I went and told Caroline that I was going for coffee for a while. After leaving and heading to a nearby café the girl followed. I got an iced cappuccino and we sat in a corner in the café away from other people. "You wanted to talk, so talk. And know that I know what you are." She sat down and a blond man with gold eyes sat down beside her. "Okay, so my name is Alice, this is Jasper. So you know what we are, but we don't know what you are. We were passing through town when we caught your scent. We are very confused as to what you are." I cocked an eyebrow. "So you tracked me down to just ask me that?" She gave an unsure look to 'Jasper'. She turned back to me and had a look of concern. "Look I won't beat around the bush as to what we are doing. We want to know what you are because I can see the future, or what will happen. Our family is in danger, and any humans near them. We are in desperate need of help and we are looking for anyone that will help us." I looked at them. "And what exactly is your family in danger of?" They looked at each other. "The Voltori." I nearly choked on my drink. "You've heard of them?" I nodded. "Let's just say that they and I are not friends." Jasper decided to speak up. "I can feel the anger emanating from you. They did something to you." I must have looked shocked. "I can feel and change peoples emotions." I nodded. "So what makes you and your family any different than another vampire coven?" 'Alice answered this time. "We call ourselves vegetarians, we drink animal blood instead of human blood. Hence the golden eyes instead of red." I nodded. "I will help if it protects humans. And to answer your question about what  I am. I am quarter vampire, quarter human, half werewolf hybrid."

Authors Note: Wait what... Who saw that coming. Please comment below on what you think so far. I know the first chapter was possibly a little draggy. But had to lead up to the big shocker. And also tell how she got to where she's at.

Happy Holiday's, Merry Christmas, Happy Honokaa (sorry if misspelt)and all that jazz.
