Trip to Mysterious Island

Chapter 1: last day of school.

"ATHENA, WAKE UP" I HEARD MY MOM'S VOICE SAY.

"5 minutes mom".

"Athena get up! It's last day of school".

Mom is right I should wake up, today was the last day of school then I woke up and I had to find cute clothes to wear. I brushed my teeth and did my makeup.

"Athena!" There goes my mom again. "Brandon is here"

"Okay!, i'm ready!" I hollered.

I grabbed an apple from the fridge, kissed my moms cheek.

"Your hair looks like a mess" Brandon said with an amused smirk.

"I'll fix it on our way! Come on we are late!" I grabbed his hand and went outside.

"Bye mom!".

"Bye Sam!" Brandon shouted after me.

We got in to his car, he drove us as he started singing along to the song on the radio Psycho by Post Malone.

"Please stop, you sound horrible" I groaned.

And he obviously didn't listen to me.

I lived in a small yet a lovely town, and it was Wilton. Even though it was a small town there were a lot of good people. And I was one of the best. Brandon James here was one of best friends. And he was also my neighbor. We've known each other since we were babies.

On our way to school, we stopped at Netina's house. My other best friend.
She moved to Wilton 4 years ago, and ever since then we've been besties.

Netina was an Indian American, she visited India once a year to see her grandparents. And she was really kind to everyone, that's how we got along so well. I must say, she was really good at cooking, the Indian food she made was to die for.

"Brandon" she began with a sing song voice. "I hope everything is set for tomorrow."

"Yes it is" he nodded.

"I'm so excited!!" I squealed.

"Geez woman, calm down we don't want bad luck" Brandon said to earn a punch from me.

We arrived at the last place we wanted to be, Wilton high. As we made our ways to our locker we met the rest of our gang Katherine aka Kate, and Ryan. Oh and Ryan was her boyfriend, and she thought that everyone had a crush on him. Everyone including me, except for Netina.

"Oh my god! I can't wait till tomorrow! We can finally get out and have fun!" Kate said hanging on to Ryan's arms.

Ryan chuckled looking at his girl friend. "We still need to get through the day".

And with that the bell rang making everyone to go to their homeroom classes.

But I agreed with Kate, we were all excited for the trip we planned for. All credits went to Ryan and Brandon as they were the ones who came up with the idea.

We were going on this trip to the forest, we've already booked the cabins, and it's all going to be like a camping trip with hiking and everything!. So much fun.

I really wasn't listening to what Mr. Raymond was saying. I was too busy thinking of the exciting trip we prepared to go to.
