Vic's POV *year 2007*
"Were you honest when you said, "I could never leave your bed." Wake me up and let me know you're alive..." I sang to open up our very first headlining US Tour. It was finally real. After years of dreaming, rejection, and practing, we could finally say: "We Made It" Not everyone gets to live out their dream, but I, Vic Fuentes, do.
Of course, this dream wouldn't be possible without my little brother, Mike, and my two bear friends: Jaime Preciado and Tony Perry.(But let's be honest, they're practically my brothers, too) You know how you here those artist who it's like "BAM!" one day you have no idea who they are, and then the next they're world famous. Well, yeah, it was pretty much the complete opposite for my band. There was no over night success. No, it was a journey filled with hard work and dedication. Sweat and tears. Well, not so much tears, but a LOT of sweat. And some blood...but that's not important right now.
I've made mistakes. I've had hard times. And so have my band mates. I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't change a damn thing. That's because they've all got me and made me who I am today. I like to think my friends feel the same.
"All the nightmares you'll see, tomorrow. All the stars on your ceiling, they glow, but not for you. Through the trees, I'll blow." I have just experienced my first BIG show with my bandmates, my friends, my brothers. "Thank you so much San Diego. I don't know if you know this, but this was our first headliner." The crowd erupted into cheers and screams. "We couldn't have done any of this without you." The feeling I had right now, it couldn't be compared to anything I've ever felt before. In a word, it was amazing. "You all are fucking awesome. We are Pierce the Veil. And this used to be our dream, but now: it's reality.
*A/N* YAY chapter one of my first fanfic complete. I hope you like it. I intend to make the rest of the chapters longer...also, the story is basically gonna be about how they came to be and it won't go past anything that has to do with 'A Flair for the Dramatic.' So yea, hope ya like it...
