The Walking Dead - just look at the flowers

Chapter 1

Lauras POV

It's been awhile since the outbreak started.  Whatever you call these things, I hate being alone. after my bestfriend died well Im only assuming shes dead but I mean i've been alone ever since. I was just at her place and boom people were being evacuated and I went to go find my parents but yeah they were already gone. Yesterday I went for a walk and found a well built up place called  "Alexandria", but it was surrounded by the monster flesh eating things. If only there was a way to get in there without making so much noise. I have a good aim, some guns and a shit ton of bullets. Oh it's not worth it, but, I  am starving there might be food inside those walls. I lay on my bed and fall asleep.

The next day-

I ate a muesli bar, grabbed my biggest gun and bullets and set out for Alexandria. It didn't take me too long to get there. When I got there I climbed a tree and began to fire. One by one they drew closer, one by one they died. They got up to the tree and started baning it, it made it hard to get a good aim. Eventually I managed to kill them all, "holy shit", I say. I run up to the wall and begin to climb. I make it to the top. But, when I get to the top. There are people, staring right at me. I freeze, I couldn't fucking move. I notice one really hot guy, I stare at his eyes I couldn't bring myself to look away. Some of the people start opening the gate, I finally come back to earth, in a jolt I turn and jump. The man shouts "hey"! He bolts out the gate followed closely by two other men. I run as fast and I can, But i stumble and they start catching up, Im quickly losing breath and I slow down.

All of a sudden I'm on the ground looking straight into the guys eyes I was staring at just before. Im thinking "God bless me" and at the same time, "what have I gotten myself into"? They help me up on my feet. "How many walkers have you killed"? The hot guy asks, I reply

"who knows" he then asks 

"how many people have you killed"?

"None"

"why"?

"because i just run away" They begin to laugh amongst themselves, a tear slowly runs down my face. They stop laughing. When we get back to Alexandria I say, "you can let me go now"

The hot guy says "my name is Rick, this Daryl", I turn and look at the guy with the crossbow "and this is Glenn" I look the other way to see him standing with a women, she says "hi i'm Maggie"

"Hi", i say shyly .Daryl closes the gate and walks off, "keep walking" rick says and nudges me. I continue walking, he takes me into his house were he makes me sit on a couch, "you can sleep there" he says kindly I reply, 

"Thanks, But really, you don't have to do this".  He just looks deep into my eyes as if he were lost. I blush and look away. I hear him chuckle. I start playing with my gun,"I have more "

"what"?

"I have more guns, back where I live."

"well you live here now, we can get your shit tomorrow".  A baby cries "stay here" he says demandingly. As tempting as it is not to stay, I stay. Rick brings down a beautiful girl, he calls her sweetie. I smile, I'm overcome with happiness, then I remember Jemma's baby sister. I turn away as my eyes start to water, "her names Judith, I also have a son called Carl" I don't say anything. Rick sits her next to me and walks out the door. I wipe my tears away, "hey beautiful" I say to Judith. She crawls over to me. I place her on my chest and lay down. I fall asleep, but wake up hearing a bang, Rick isn't back yet, I see Judith fast asleep. I want to get up but I'm too tired, i feel safe here. I fall asleep
