Chapter 1 - the begginning

Erin's POV

Darkness surrounded me, it was very quiet and I was just a single cell floating around this empty space... It's so cold and lonely here, I whined out trying to see if anyone else was here, but nobody came. I continued whining to try and get someone's attention. I had been been crying out for a few minutes before I saw a little white dot in the distance, I could hear a voice coming through the dot. I flew towards it so fast I smashed into it and the sound of glass breaking was heard all around me as I opened my eyes, well my new eyes. As I looked around I saw the top of a room and what looked like lab equipment all around me. I looked around again to try and identify the voice that was calling my name.
"Erin! Erin get down here I need to see if this new body is stable for you!" Oh yeah, that's right...I was just a wondering SOUL a few minutes ago... Wait what body? I spun around looking at myself, wow I was like a giant dragon skull; I stared down at the man I knew as Dr goop, I remember now! I immediately flew? Down to Goop and just hovered there.

"Let me finish my tests Erin, I'm going to say I made you for my son as a gift but you need to protect him at all costs." He paused and sighed."I know he will soon want to leave this place it's just a matter of where and when" I saw the sadness in his eyes and nuzzled him with my new snout. He finished poking me and said I could look at myself, so I went to the huge window which was like a mirror and gasped; I looked so cool. I was right, I had become a giant skull with what looked to be more feminine cheek bones to identify my gender I presume.
I waddled as best I could over to Goop and whinnied to show I was good to go and stuff. I'm guessing he got the gist because he just said. "Come with me Erin" and walked off. At least someone has legs. I floated behind him, which was very difficult because of my size, I kept knocking things and started getting pretty annoyed at the objects in my way so I growled at them. Obviously this was amusing Gaster so I growled at him as well, he just burst out laughing. We were half way down a corridor when a skeletal head popped around the corner and stared at Gaster, I'm guessing that is his son. "Dad what is so fun--WHAT IN THE UNDERGROUND IS THAT?!?" He all but practically yelled at his dad. I just floated there awkwardly staring between the two. They are related, knew it.

"Son this is an experiment I made for you, it follows your command for when you use your magic or the eye." I stared at him like 'excuse me this was not what you said' Gaster stared at me smugly and used his magic to move me I front of his son. That little bastard is making me a pet and a weapon! I knew I shouldn't have trusted him. I glared at Goop and protectively stood in front of his son ,who I believe was called Sans. I think Gaster got my point from my stance and glared before saying the most disrespectful thing I've heard in the void.

"You can leave now son, you are no use to me anymore, and take the failed experiment with you!" He walked off leaving his son staring angrily and me about to shoot him down. Wait I don't have a--the young skeleton stuck out his hand, his eye and hand glowing blue in a mist of magic, and I involuntarily shot out a beam of magic straight through the door that bastard went through. I caught the end of his lab coat and all I saw was a mad Gaster before I grabbed the boy by his shirt and flew straight through the doors, breaking them in the process. But I was stopped.

"Wait please wait! My brother is still in there! Please I need him please!" He yelled at me as I landed in a snowy place. I went wide eyed! He had a bro! I quickly threw him onto the top of my skull by his shirt and flew straight there, blowing a hole in another wall as soon as I got to the lab. The alarms went off as I quickly landed and Sans jumped off running to get his brother. Gaster came to see the problem and almost instinctively glared at me. He summoned his own version of me but it looked like a male. We both saw what was about to happen and felt pity for each other. It was a skull just like me but looked older and mature. He looked silently at me before obeying his masters command and started shooting at me. I tried shooting back but I had no master so I couldn't. I freaked so I started bashing my way through the long corridors trying to find master; all the way  Gaster and his skull behind me. I got shot and skimmed multiple times leaving burn marks and scratches all over me. I saw an open door and bashed straight into it hoping Sans would be here. I quickly looked around the room spotting Sans and a slightly taller skeleton hugging. I barked loud enough for him to hear me. At first they both looked scared and I flew to them in a rush. Two seconds later Gaster ran in with an angry look on his face before pointing his Gaster blaster as I will call them straight at the two younger skeletons. Sans eye turned blue again as I felt my left eye turning blue as well. He made me shoot and that's what I did, all the while Gaster was dodging and Sand and his brother climbing onto my head. As soon as they both got on I shot the biggest beam I could at the wall and flew straight through it, narrowly avoiding Gasters attacks. I flew right across the lava land and straight back to the snowy area I went before. I skidded and fell rolling over multiple times before sliding to a stop. Panting heavily and laying on my side, I saw the two boys had jumped off as I started rolling; thank Asgore they're safe. They quickly brushed themselves off and sprinted towards me. It was slightly funny because they tried to hug my entire being, it didn't really work though. I snuzzled them with my snout and picked both of them up by their shirts. The both laughed while I looked around the village, i assumed it was night time as no one was around. Although I did see people looking out windows and staring at me. This was an eventful day and I needed to rest as I'm sure the blues did too. I saw a house for sale, so I placed the boys down by it and nudged it. They looked at each other and nodded turning it around to sold and they walked in, forgetting that I can't fit through the door. I growled and Sans turned around as his brother went upstairs looking for a room.
"Oh." Was all I heard before a claim and then I was inside. I stared dumbfounded as he said something that generally surprised me.
"There you go, I've had magic since I was little...hum I never got your name..." I tried saying 'Erin' but it came out as 'Ezle'
"Gaster blaster, I need a name I can't call you GB, and Ezle isn't a name I can pronounce correctly" we bother snickered and then I had and idea. I tried individual letters "Er" I think he saw what I was getting at a brought out a post it note from his pocket and wrote it down "ra" he wrote that down too "in" and that as well. She showed me the post it note and it read 'Erin' I nodded my head rapidly and he snickered and started walking up the stairs same way as his brother did. "My bros name is Papyrus so please protect him too, and goodnight, Erin " after that he went into the closest room to the left and I disappeared in a poof and was welcomed quickly by the site of Sans new room. I tried moving but couldn't, I looked around me and saw that I had no body. Oh so this is what happens when Sans 'puts me away'? I looked around again and saw a faint glow in the corner, and it talked .

"Hi I'm Arthur , one of Sans Gaster blasters! I'm guessing Gaster created you right?"
I answered him as I guess he sounded trustworthy.
"Hum yeah, in Erin by the way"
"Well nice quick chat but I'm going to sleep you should to"
"Ok"
So I closed my eyes and slept, peacefully with no encounters of the past.
