"Wake up Skyler! It's your first day back and you're already sleeping?" I heard. I stood up and open my eyes "yes I'm sleeping on the first day back in this hell hole, why are you against me sleeping? There's nothing to learn, but just listen to everyone's stupid stories about their summer break. Please let me SLEEP!" She yells. Everyone tries not to laugh " GOOD ONE SKYE" someone yells from the back of the class.

"Do you really want detention on the first day  Skyler Lopez?" The teacher asks. Everyone stays quiet and so does Skyler. " Didn't think so. anyway, Mr. Dolan continue" he says " o-oh right.. as I was saying.." continues Ethan

She turns around to look at him, it wasn't the Dolan she was thinking about.

Skylers POV:
Okay I'm a very popular person in this school, I'm also a Senior. Finally! Been waiting for like ever, I hate this place it's full of stupid and low people. Obviously a few people hate me, but I really don't care. I'm a bitch, everyone knows this. I'm like those mean girls in those cliché teen movies.

Some people don't really know me though, I'm different when I'm not around here. I just have to put up an act in school so people don't try and step all over me like they did in middle school.. ANYWAY it's lunch time and I sit with my group of "popular" friends.

" Hey Skye! Heard what happened in your first period" Addy says smiling, that's my friend obviously "Its not a big deal" I quietly say "True but at least you didn't get detention because we're having a back to school party tonight. And I will need your help" I smile until I hear the one and only Jake speak

"Hey babe" he says and begins to make out with me. " stop" I say in between kisses, pushing him away "we're at school you idiot" I lighting hit his chest and he laughs sitting beside me "So are you guys ready for tonight?" he asks "hell yeah" we all say. Everyone obviously knew about this party, and I know for a fact that the whole school will be going. It's going to be fun.

I enter the house and I can instantly smell the alcohol, sweat and weed. The room is hot from all the bodies rubbing against each other. Jake comes up to me and starts dancing on me. I also begin to dance along and it gets sexual by the minute. "I'm gonna go get a drink! I'll be right back!" Jake yells "alright! I'll be by sitting on the couch!" I yell back

I walk to the nearest couch and there was a couple making out, "ew get a room" I say with a disgusting look, brushing them away. The couple gives me dirty looks and walks away, I sit down and go on my phone.

Ive been sitting here for half an hour and decide to look for Jake. I ask everyone and they all told me they didn't know, I kept looking and decided to go upstairs.

I look through the rooms and as I open one I see him laying in a bed and some girl on top of him. I stood there in shock; my eyes begin to water up. I slam the door and run downstairs, " Skye what's wrong?" I heard. My friend stops in front of me and looks at me " what's wrong Skye?"

I look at her in the eyes and walk past her. I start sobbing as I run outside as fast as I could, I can hear Jake calling after me. I can't run fast with these hells, I kick them off and run off with my heels on my left hand.

I could hardly see from the tears in my eyes and I bump into someone who looked slightly familiar but I didn't pay much attention to it since I just literally found a girl on top of my boyfriend. " I'm sorry" I say with a shaky voice " are you okay?" He asks, his voice was deep and also very familiar but I can't make up who he was. I clear my throat " yeah I'm fine" I lie "then why are you crying?" He asks wiping a tear "Do you need to sit down and talk?" I wipe my tears off and he begins to walk and I follow him. We sit down on the curb " I don't know who you are.. why do you care if I'm crying or if I'm okay" I say in a slightly rude tone "Well, I care about everyone. Even if I don't know them" he says quietly and puts his hoodie on "you look like you're gonna kidnap me" I say and he lets out a chuckle

"I wouldn't" he quietly says
"You sure?" I ask seriously
"no, I'm gonna kidnap you and feed you to my bird" he says and I smile  "there's a smile, but anyway what's wrong?" He asks looking down at his feet. "uhh.. I saw some random chick on top of my boyfriend at a party." I quietly say but he can clearly hear me since it's quiet out here "Damn I'm sorry" he says "Don't be, should've known. He's the biggest fuckboy at my schoo-" I get cut off by Jakes yelling

"SKYLER WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH THIS DUDE" I turn my head to see him, he's breathing heavily and he looks pissed. "We aren't even doing anything! Just talking!" I yell back he comes closer to me and grabs my arm "don't fucking yell at me" he whispers. I can smell the alcohol in his breath and I look at him in disgust "let go of me" I demand as I try to get off his grip "YOURE HURTING ME! LET ME GO YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE" I yell and try to slap him with my free hand but he instantly grabs my other arm. I snatch both arms off " why don't you go with your other bitch?" I say

I suddenly feel my cheek sting, I cup my cheek and realize he had just slapped me. "Dude what the fuck!" I hear, it was the guy I was talking to "Why'd you do that?" He asks, he sounds pissed " hey it's oka-" he cuts me off and throws a punch at Jake

" NO STOP!" I say and get in front of  him and I can barely see the outline of his face. His jaw was clenching, Jake stands up and pushes me to the ground. They begin to fight until someone else comes up and breaks it up "YOU'RE DEAD MAN! DEAD" Jake yells angrily. My friends come up to me and walk me to the house where the party was at. I try to look back but I couldn't see the guy anymore. "what the fuck happened?" They asked I quickly summarize everything to them. "He slapped you?!" Addy asked in shock, I just simply nod and they take me home. Who the hell was that guy? Why didn't I look at him longer.
