After Dahyun hang up the phone she felt really bad for not giving him a definite answer. God knows how much she wanted to say yes but there are so many things to consider; the company, the fans, her career, and most importantly his.

She pondered about it for a while and she finally reach a decision."It's okay to be selfish once in a while." confident, she looked at her own reflection in the mirror. "right?" she looked determined at first but as she think of it her shoulders deflated. She scrolled through her phone and one picture caught her attention. It was a stolen picture of Jungkook, a smile spread across her face as she remembered when Jungkook noticed that she took a photo and how much she struggled just to keep that picture.

"If there's even a slight chance at getting something that will make you happy, risk it. Life's too short, and happiness is too rare." Her dad used to tell her, she suddenly remembered. That's it. That exact moment she got an answer.

Yes, her answer is yes. It has always been yes. She was about to dial his number but to her surprise her phone rang first. It's him. All smiles, she answered "I was about to call you. I got something to tell yo-" she didn't get to finish because Jungkook cut her.

"Let's meet up." Jungkook said in a serious tone.

"Sure, where?"

"I'll text you the address. Please come as soon as you can." he said before hanging up. He didn't even wait for her response. She ignored that fact and she excitedly exited the room.

----

When she came to the location Jungkook said, she saw him sitting at the bench. She excitedly walked to him. "Hey!" she greeted. Jungkook just looked at her, not saying anything. She started to wonder if Jungkook is mad because she didn't say yes earlier. Just before she could talk Jungkook started

"Dahyun~ah" he called out in a deep serious tone.

"Why? What's wrong? You seemed so down." she asked him, still all smiles and still clueless of the situation.

"I've got something important to tell you." he looked straight to her eyes.

She smiled "Me too! Something that I should've said earlier. Do you want to go first? No, me first."

"Dahyun" he call her once again.

Looking at how despondent he is, Dahyun felt something bad coming. Her bright and sunny face turned gloomy.

She forced out a chuckle. "I think I already know where this is going, so please don't talk for a second."

"Dah-"

"I said I got it! So please don't talk, don't say my name!" her voice's volume increased.

Jungkook was taken a back. He feels so bad that he can't do anything. Just as she said, he stayed quiet for a moment. "Dahyun~ah, I'm sorry." looking down, he managed to utter.

"I'm so stupid." she turned to him. "I was so excited to come here, to say yes. I was so ready to risk it all." with that Jungkook's head shot up, he turned to her but this time she was the one looking down. "Yes, I'm afraid of what will happen but I'm so excited of the idea of us. My brain and my conscience is telling me no but my heart tells me to go for you because you make me so happy, you make me feel so special, and you make me feel so loved. I am all stupid and crazy saying "so what if I throw it all away, so what? He makes me happy and I love him that's all that matters" I convinced myself by saying those things." she let out a forced chuckle.

"I'm sorry."

"To be honest that's the last thing I want to hear from you. I hate that words the most." she turned to look at him. "can you at least tell me the reason?"
