Diem woke up the next day and just sighed as she looked over to the clock and sees that it is just 4 am. She hadn't slept at all this night, because all she could think of was how embarressed she felt when she talked to Trent the other day.

She did her rutine, into the shower, out of the shower, get dressed and go to work, over the park. Again, she saw Trent, walking the other way. Their eyes locked again, and Diem just smile and looked down.

Diem got to work and met her boss, Mr. Wills he was standing inside the door, a hard look in his face, angry. He was old, you could see the wrinkles at his face and the grey in his hair were starting to show.

"Why are you late again?" He said angry.

"I'm not late, I start 7am every morning and it's just.. " it was 7.30 am.

"Yeah, that's right. This is the last straw, you are fired!" He said as he turned around and walked into the elevator.

Diem could feel her racing heart, not in a good way, she felt the tears fighting forward. She walked over to the elevator and waited for the doors to open so that she could get her stuff and walk home again.

She got up to her floor and it felt like the world stopped and just laughed at her , but they just starred at her. She walked slowly over to her desk and just took all if her important things and walked out to the elevator again and waited.

In the elevator she felt a tear run down her face. She didn't notice anyone who stood with her.

"Tough start at the day?" She heard a dark voice ask her. She just nodded.

"I hope you get back on your feet pretty quick again, you seem like a good co-worker." The voice said.

This time she looked up and saw two eyes she had dreamed about. It was Trent.

"Yeah, I hope so too. I hate to just sit at home." Diem said as the elevator stopped.

"May I ask why you got fired?" Trent asked.

"How.." she stopped because she knew the answer, she was standing with her box of things and tears on her face.

"Not important." She said instead and walked her way home in a quick pace.

When she got home she placed her box on the table and lied down on her bed and just cried. She couldn't belive she got fired.

After a few hours, she woke up by her phone calling.  Unknown caller.

"Hello?" She said a bit tired.

"You were a hard girl to get a hold on." The caller said. Diem smiled, it was Trent.

"Why are you calling me?" She asked.

"I wanted to offer you a job, but I need you resumee and an interview with you." Trent said.

Diem sat there for a minute and was shocked.  Just a few hours after she had lost her job, a new one was just fell in front of her.

"Hello? Diem?" Trent said bringing Diem back to life.

"Yes, I am here.  Yes, I'll come by with my resumee. When do you want it?" She asked pretty excited.

"Now. " Was all Trent said as he hung up.
