Tahj POV

"Ahj...Tahj....TAHJ!!" Ouch my head hurts and whoever keeps yelling my name isn't making it any better. I slowly opened my eyes and came into view of Ms. Erin's face as well as Malik's. The other guests were circled around me all wearing a look of concern except for Oscar of course. Actually he looked as if he was enjoying my discomfort. So that's where I've seen her from? She was the same girl I bumped into the day I told him I was pregnant. Deep in my thought I felt myself being hoisted up by Malik and Tatiyana.

"Baby girl are you okay? What's wrong was it something with the baby?"

"Yeah Tahj is everything alright," asked the venomous serpent who I could only wish to slain. I tried my hardest to hide my look of disgust while averting my attention back onto Malik. "Yeah I'm fine I guess I'm just a little dehydrated." A few seconds later I was being handed a bottle of water. After regaining my composure I got off the floor and announced to everyone that I was fine and let's just focus on the festivities. "Good idea anyway it was nice meeting you Malik and Tahj. I'm just going to go mingle a little bit, see you guys around later."

"So what do you guys think of him? I know he seems a bit rough around the edges but he can be such a sweet guy. I really think he's the one. Do you know how hard it is to find a loyal, single man with no kids these days? It's surprisingly hard." I could do nothing but choke on my water because he wasn't single when they got together and he has a child on the way but all I could resort my self to saying was, "well I guess I got lucky with this one right here."

In a split second a figure quickly glided passed me and made his way next to Tatiyana. He crept down and whispered something in her ear. "Oh I'm sorry I really didn't know you wanted me to accompany you. Well guys we're going to go mingle some more." And with that they were circulating around the room making their presence be known in every crook and corner of the house.

"Okay guys dinner is on the table so let's all get settled around please and thank you." We followed the instructions of Ms. Erin and made our way to the dining table where everything was laid out so beautifully and I can honestly say I didn't know I was hungry until I saw the food. Both the ham and the turkey and this gorgeous glaze to it with aromas that demanded your nose's attention. The mac n' cheese had the right shade of golden brown and the mashed potatoes just looked like it had the right consistency. And that was just to name a few things. Adorned on the rest of the table was oxtail, curry chicken, curry goat, sauteed shrimp, brown stewed chicken, yellow rice, rice and peas, hell even the salad looked delicious. "Well before everyone starts drooling over the food let's say grace." We all clasped hands and waited for Ms. Erin to bless the food,

"Dear God I'd like to say thank you for allowing us to see another Christmas and thank you for bringing us all together in order to celebrate the day that is dedicated to you my Lord. Thank you for the hands that made this meal *cough cough* mainly mine." There were a few giggles and grunts that sprinkled across the room. She continued, "And lastly thank you for the new joy you've brought into our life. Thank you for allowing Tahj to walk across our paths and bleess us with a new presence that will be my grandson." A coughing fit began and I wouldn't be shocked if it was Oscar. "In your heavenly name we pray, Amen. Now let's dig in folks."

After filling up our plates to the top we made our way over to the table and took a seat. I placed a forkful of food into my mouth and savored he flavors as they danced on my tastebuds. But of course as my luck would have it I couldn't enjoy the moment for too long before the devil started dancing on my nerves. "So Malik and Tahj how long have you guys been together?"

"We've been with each other for about 4 months but made it official a few weeks back."

"Oh okay and how far along are you?
