CENTRAL LABORATORY FOR ADVANCE AI

6:00 AM

Ahh shit! I cant be late for my fist day !

Rushing towards the double doors of the giant science building , I was ecstatic and full of adrenaline. After 18 years of living I have finally been accepted to the job of my dreams. Getting the chance of a lifetime and working with the top of the top! Maybe i can meet a super hot science babe here? Hmmm perhaps not now .

When I attempted to open the double doors, they were locked. But then I remembered what I was told from the interview . There was a camera right on top of me that was looking right at my sweaty face.

Oh yeah! The ID card. Holding it up in the air a flash of red light scanned it and let me in by opening the double doors.

Running a hand threw my messy hair I tried to attempt to look presentable in my new work place. But then I took notice that the lobby was was empty , there was no one in the front desk either. Maybe if I call my Boss he might pick up, but sadly he did not only ring after ring and then a voicemail. I sighed and decided that there must be someone on the upper floors.

Making my way towards the silver elevator I walked in and pushed the 200th button on the grid. Leaning back on the wall I stared out at the city behind me, all the skyscrapers and hover ships . ' Wounder what this city looked like before the Revolution of SCIENCE!"

'Hmm must of been hard to those people. '

After two minutes passed the doors opened and a cold wave of air hit me, my skin started to prickle up like a chicken.

Walking out of the elevator and into the giant laboratory I was fascinated by all the tremendous gadgets and bottles filled with random looking liquid.

'woah'

Then in the center of it all, almost like a cheery on top to finish the grand room there was a large tube with blue liquid and then I saw it!

A person was inside of it, well it was a lady , was she actually real? Oh was she one of those people who would sell there bodies to the science community?

My mind was indulged with questions and only wanting answers, I was about to write down an equation on the different probabilities of this situation on the touch screen glass. But then I heard the elevator open.

" Who the hell is in here?" Said a man who also happens to be my.. Boss......FUCK.

Mentally debating if should make a run for it or just face him as I am. I heard my name being called in a now more calm way.

" David I know its you, stop hiding in the corner boy ."

I nervously stood up and walked forward to great him.

Good morning Mr. Pardon .

" My Boy! Why are you here so early no one is here in the main Labs yet?"

Well sir I didn't want to be late on my fist day of my now dream job.

Mr Pardon's stiff face softened and he laughed with a gentile smile.

" Oh David i'm glad that you showed up with that much enthusiasm, Ha HA HA you are going to need it my boy."

Is that so?

" Don't test me son, be glad that i even considered your application in the first place. Just because you skipped all of middle school and half of high school does not mean you get a free pass to work here. Half the people here didn't have to even go to high-school , they went straight to the most exclusive Universities. '

I was now left looking like an Idiot , curse my high courage and the part of me that's a smartass.

" Now David take this." He held up a lab coat and my time card

Thank you sir. I said in a more dim way.

As he was about to walk off into the elevator, I stopped him and asked about the body floating in the middle of the freaking laboratory!

Mr. Pardon , who is she?

He turned to face me at equal height so there was no need for me to be intimidated.

" Who AYA or... oh."

In my mind I asked myself who AYA was, I brushed it off to listen to him.

" Oh that poor girl, hmm I'll let your new coworkers deal with that question of yours. It would be a good conversation starter ehh.'

Ugh well actually.....

Then before I could finish my sentence, he waved me off and left me alone in this Lab.

Well he was nice I guess.
