Chapter 2

After arriving in Diagon Alley Hermione and Ginny set to work. First going to get their robes. "You know Hermione, I think you need a makeover this year." Ginny told her.

Hermione's face scrunched up at the idea. Her wear nice clothes and makeup? But hey, what could be the harm? Ever since that war she had been feeling like she needed a change. She looked over at Ginny, who was getting her roves fitted. "Maybe your right."

The look she gained from the surprised girl was priceless. Then as if she had a sudden mood swing she smiled really big and squealed, making the person helping her jump. "Yay! This is going to be so much fun. But can we go get lunch at the leaky cauldron first? I'm famished."

Hermione nodded. This girl always amazes her. "Sure, I'm quite hungry too."

After about 20 more minutes to robe fitting they were on their way. Just then Hermine remembered that Ron had said he was meeting a friend there. She smiled. She would surprise them.

The who girls walked down the rode and tapped the brick wall. They walked into the leaky cauldron and Hermione instantly started looking for her red head boyfriend. She caught sight of red and smiled. But the smile didn't stay on her face for long. She felt disgusted. Instead of feeling sad like she though she would if his happened she was beyond angry. With a look of determination on her face she ave Ginny her bags and stomped over to him.

"How dare you!" This seemed to scare the couple at the booth and they jumped apart. Ron immediately stood up.

"Hermione! What are you doing here?!" He said frantically.  He rubbed the back of his neck s he spoke.

"I could ask you the same thing Ronald! But I think I have. pretty good idea. Cheating on me with this slag. And here I thought you were done with her sixth year. I guess not." She was pointing to Lavender Brown sitting in the booth with a terrified look on her face. "So this is why you have been distant and distracted lately. Wow Ron never thought you had it in you to do something so mean." As much as she didn't want it to happen tears tarted to lip from her eyes. "I've loved you since fourth year and his is how you repay me? You make me sick." She wiped her face,

" Hermione I can explain" Ron grabbed her cheek gently.

Hermione slapped his and away. As much as she loved he feel of his hand on her face she couldn't do it. Her voice lowered. "No Ron. I can't stay with you knowing that you will just keep doing this. Its over. Don't bother talking to me for a while." She was truly sad that he would just throw away their love if that's what it was.

Out if nowhere a hand came flying past Hermione's face a slapped Ron across his face. Shocked Hermione saw Ginny standing net to her holding her hand and rubbing it slightly. "You disgust me Ronald." With nothing else said Ginny grabbed Hermione's hand and dragged he out of the leaky cauldron and back into Diagon Alley.

Tears still leaked from her eyes. She felt so broken. Like her heart was in a million pieces. Shattered for everyone to see. She felt a hand start to rub her back and she came back to reality. No, she would not cry for that imbecile. He made the mistake not her. She would make him regret everything. Straightening up she fixed her shirt and wiped her eyes. " I will not let this bring me down. I'm going to have a Goodyear t Hogwarts and he is not going to stop me. Now let's go Gin we have shopping to do. I need a new wardrobe.

The Leaky Cauldron

Ron stared after the love of his life as she waked away fro him. He had messed up big time. He felt so mad with himself. But she had ended it and knowing Hermione she would not talk to him for a long time. He sat down and looked at Lavender. Maybe having a relationship with her for a while would mar Hermione jealous and come back to him. He put his arm around Lavender. "Lav I love you." Hr was a very good liar. He could admit that.
