I swear I only closed my eyes for a second and then I fell into a deep sleep. How was that possible. I wasn't that tired, anyway. I dream about weird... Shapes? I am really not sure.

A dark shadow whooshes past my face, I look up. A bare human skull. It wore a cloak and had talons for feet and a snakey tail. It could obviously fly. I wasn't scared, though.
Another creature. It had great big feathered wings and the body and head of a cat. With one big flap, it soared higher than the clouds.
One creature had a long elephant-like nose and goat's hooves. It had great big googly eyes and a rather large stomach.

I opened my mouth to try and communicate with the creatures but...
I woke up, sweating. It was dark outside and I was still inside the bus. The bus driver was still driving. He seemed to be smoking a pipe. I wandered up to him, stumbling as we went around a corner.

"H-Hello?" I say to him. No reply.
"Hello, I'm still on the bus," I say a little clearer.
Still no reply.
I grab his shoulder.

And then the bus driver crumbled to dust.
