↠Steve Rogers/Captain America:You and Steve settled down on the couch; he put a pillow on the uncomfortable armrest in an attempt to make it more comfortable for his back to lean on it. You laid between his legs- your head against his chest as you both watched new and old Christmas movies. The warmth of the hot chocolate in your hands spread through your chest when you took a sip. The crackling fire place in the background making you feel more relaxed than you already were in Steve's arms. This night couldn't get anymore perfect, or so you thought.
"(Y/n) I have something for you." You felt his body shift. He was now in a seated position with you still between his legs. His breath tickling your ear when he whispered, causing a small shiver to go down your spine. He pulled out a rectangular red box from under the pillow he was laying on and you took it with both of your hands when he handed it to you.
"Steve..." You opened it to reveal an adorable, floral, pastel pink watch, hummingbirds and butterflies were drawn in there as well, the Roman numerals matching the light pink colors. "Thank you, baby." His chin rested on your shoulder the entire time even as he placed the watch on your wrist. "How much was this?" You ask, a bit concerned about the price.
"I'm not s'posed to say." You could hear the grin on his lips. "You're worth every dollar anyway." He placed a soft kiss on the fabric over your shoulder.
"Alright, calm down Romeo." You chuckle, removing yourself begrudgingly from the comfort of his body. "I also got you a gift," You said smugly. "It was surprisingly hard to find and very hard to carry but you know I'd do anything for your handsome smile so..." Your sentence trailed off with a shrug. Steve's grin widened at your confession, followed by a short shake of his head, wondering how he got so lucky with you.
"Were you okay?" He asked. A permanent smile on his face at your excited skipping to the Christmas tree.
"Wish I could truthfully say I carried it." You nervously smile. "I lifted it then put it down immediately- thought I was gonna have to take you down to the car." You gave a short laugh at the thought, "Bucky came around though, said he wanted to say Merry Christmas and whatnot. Then I asked him to carry this thing-" You gestured towards the giant wrapped box, "He carried it with ONE arm and you know which one. Have to say, I was pretty jealous but very grateful."
