Chapter one: Rain
A horrible ripping sound emitted from the curtains as I yanked them back. In any other place, light would have cascaded into the room and caressed your skin or even burned your eyes. Not me though, nope. I got shades and shaded of grey as the little light that did come through made the shadow of the rain drops bounce onto the white carpeted floor of my new home. I huffed.
Rain. My mind complained. All ways rain. Gathering the little strength I had, I left the window and trodden down the steps to my living room. The new house was deafeningly quiet, making my guard come in hard and strong. It's never quiet. Never.
Slowly, my hand guided its self across the wooden desk side as the familiar fury feel of my pets snuggled against my leg. At least they're up. A small smile tugged at the edges of my lips as I glanced down to where my cat, Luna and her daughter Smokey with my golden Labradors Laddie, his brother Fawn, Laddie's lover Saffron and their children Junior, Pippin and Eesa. My heart nearly melted at the sight of my cats peaking up at me with bright jadis green eyes and my dogs wagging their golden tails and glancing up at me with crystal blue eyes. All the pets belong to me while the others wouldn't even take care of a gold fish.
My hand continued it's path to grip the rugged handle of my midnight black pistol. I cocked it held it up in front of me.
"Morning to you too, little ones..." I spoke alloud hoping that if here was an intruder then they would assume me to be off guard. "Yeah...need something to eat?" He dogs barked in response and the cats meowed. A quick scan of the house determined that the house was, in fact empty. Even the other fourteen bedrooms were empty. I relaxed slightly and walked into the kitchen, opening packets of pet food and filling the bowls with food that they began to munch on their food. I walked around the black marble counter top and went to make myself food when my eye caught a note sitting on the side and a letter, both of which addressed to me. I decided to open the note first, carefully I peeled the row of sticky stuff off the paper on the post it note and read the familiar cursive writing.

Bella,
Ok. Knowing you, no doubt you've woken up and have scanned the house already with your gun in case of intruders because it's too quiet. See? I know you that well. Anyways. Everyone's out and I've written down on here where they are for you so don't panic. Be home soon, don't get in too much trouble. Love you sis.
Kenny.

I closed my eyes and sighed. How come I get up so late to miss my brothers telling me where there off too? It happens almost everyday! Leaving my eyes close, I took a breather and picked up the official looking letter addressed to me by my full name. I recognised the stamp and sighed again in frustration. Great. Another letter to join another damn branch of national law enforcement. Putting my frustrations aside, I opened the letter and began to read.

Dear Miss Isabella Creek,
As soon as you laid eyes on this letter, your first thought turned to a request for joining another team of law enforcement. I could write that this isn't one of those letters, but that would be a lie.
My name is Supervisory Special Agent Aaron Hotchner and I work for the Behavioural Analysis Unit of the FBI in Quantico Virginia. Recently a member of our team has unfortunately left due to the job taking too much of a toll on her mental stability and we have been given a new case that we are having trouble solving ourselves.
I am not, at this current moment, asking you to join our team straight away. I am asking for your help. The serial killer we have on our hands is tricky and we can't do this alone. I have had a discussion with my team and we all agree we need some help.
Please consider helping us, we wish for no one else to get hurt. You can contact me on these details as it is my personal number.

Thank you for taking your time to read this letter.
Supervisory Special Agent Aaron Hotchner

My mind raced with my heart as I considered my options. I sighed as I eventually made my decision. I typed in SSA Hotchner's number and began to text.

Aaron Hotchner, its Isabella Swan-Creek. I'm on my way, I'll be there by tomorrow.

I pressed send and darted up to my room and began to pack. I, going to have a lot of explaining to do when everyone gets back...
