Chapter 11

*I'm thinking a flash back chapter would do all of us some good. So flashback for Alex first*

*Alex's First Day Of 9th Grade *

"No mom I'm not letting you walk me in! That's totally embarrassing." I open the door and shut it quietly; Chris is sleeping in the back seat.

A new school year stuck with the same stupid people from 8th grade, great. I was very upset that I was even going here; I wanted to go with Mike to the awesome school but my mom refused. I climb the stairs and walk inside. The moment the doors shut behind me I see spray tans and basketball shorts, EVERYWHERE! I knew I stuck out like a sore thumb with my stripped tights and batman converses. I get myself together and hold my head up high as I walk through the halls to the office; I got death stares left and right.

"Hello I'm here for my schedule." The lady looks up and frowns immediately.

"Here. Now get outta my sight you emo!" I was taken back, but I didn't fuss and left the office. I guess one of her kids is emo and I guess its ruining the family. Haha I bring up bad memories. I put in my ear buds and blast Likin Park as I walk to first hour. When I walk in all I see is several groups of kids talking; they all stop the moment they realize I'm there. I scoff; I never liked any of them anyway. I walk to the back of the room and pull out my sketch book. I begin doodling random stuff; it's like my favorite thing to do. The teacher begins to yell at the students and begins to explain some ground rules. I just ignore them and continue to draw.

"Excuse me young lady, I think we missed you in introductions." I look up; everyone is staring at me like I'm some type of animal.

"Oh well um my n-name i-is A-Alex." The teacher looks confused and looks at me to what appears to be continue.

"Oh well everyone said 3 things about themselves, could you tell us a few things?" I look around at everyone, I know what their expecting. Things like 'I only wear black, I love music more than myself, and I'm a total emo'; and of course I'm a person to rock the waves.

"Okay w-well I like anime, I have a baby brother who's 3 months, and I didn't choose to go to school here so don't expect me to pay attention." I put on a very smug smile and sit back in my seat to draw. The teacher is speechless as is the students; I just kick back and laugh. The teacher sounds like she's walking back toward me; oh that's sweet I like visitors.

"Young lady I realize that today is the first day and all, but I will not tolerate that level of sass." I smile and look up at her.

"Well I've already made it clear I didn't want to be here; so I will be as sassy as I please." I smile and turn back to my sketch book.

"Well, go to the office right now young lady! I will not tolerate this any longer!" I smile and gather my things; I think I've established not to mess with me in their tiny brains. I turn the corner to the office and walk right past it; I need a good spot to read. I find an abandon hallway and sit in it. I begin to read; I think I get too absorbed in the book because before I realize it's already 10 minutes into second hour. I get up and run to my next class, they've already done introductions, nice. I quickly sit down in the first seat in the back and hope the teacher didn't see me.

"Now students I think we have another student in the room who should be at the office, could someone escort her there please?" The whole room looks at each other; I guess they did see me.

"Wait! I'm just going to pick someone after she introduces herself." I look at everyone in the room and smile. I walk up to the front and sit on the teacher's desk.

"Well hello stupid people of ignorance land! My name is Alex and I hate all of you!" I get up and grab the popular guy in the front. "Care to be a dear and escort the poor old night owl to the office. I can't see very well, my eyes are clouded by poor fashion and bad dye jobs." He almost revolts in his skin and pushed me on the floor, I spin on the floor so it looks like I'm crazy. I get up off the floor; the students are looking like they've seen a ghost and the teacher is laughing insanely hard.
