"Quadrent 1, requesting backup!" Robert's voice rang from my watch. "Backup coming." I replied. Ryder and the trainees sat up from the couch. "Where are they?" He asked. "Just follow me!" I shot up and sprinted out the door.
"Ryder,portal!" I shouted. He snapped his fingers and an orange portal appeared. We leaped through.
We popped out the other side to see Robert and Jensen fighting 4 Chimeras. "Come on!" We sprinted towards them.
"Hey, Hot Head!" I heard Ryder shout. He sliced the head off of one. The one Robert was fighting blew fire, engulfing Ryder. "HOT!" He shouted. Leo shot ice at him and it hit Ryder's head. "Bullseye!" He laughed. "Ow!" Ryder and Robert stepped back and began shooting at them. Ryder hit the one Jensen was fighting and it froze, but Ryder tripped and the blaster broke. "Wow, dude." Was all I said.
The last one seemed very intelligent, because it dodged all of our attacks. "Attack at once! GO!" We all jumped and attacked, slashing and stabbing. My sword entered its hide and it disintigrated.
"Let's go." I said. Ryder made a portal and we all jumped through. But we didn't expect to find...
