Hand Puppets (Funtime Freddy)

  One-shot- Funtime Freddy x Child! Reader (Also, no romance, just le friendship~)

"Mommy! Mommy! Hurry up! I want to see Freddy!"

You tugged on your mother's pants, frowning at her. Your mother wasn't the best with spending time with you, but you knew she loved you very much. Your mother glances down at you and shushes you, going back to talking to her friend. You sighed. You had promised Funtime Freddy you would be at Circus Baby's Pizza World today and you weren't liking how your mother took her time. Sighing, you stopped tugging on her pants and turned away. You spotted your plush Freddy and smiled, grabbing it from off the couch of which it laid.

You heard your mother start to end her call and brightened up. You hugged Freddy, smiling. Your mother said her goodbyes to her friend and ended her call, putting her phone into her pocket and turning to you. She smiled as she spoke in a kind voice.

"Ready to go dear?"

Your (e/c) sparkled as you nodded vigorously. She held out her hand and let you grab it. Your mother lead you out to the car, opening the car door for you and buckling you in. She shut the door and got into the driver's seat, starting the car. You grinned, hugging the plush tightly. You were full of excitement. You glanced out the window as the car backed up and drove on to your favorite place in the world.

The car suddenly came to a stop. You blinked and looked out the window, seeing the huge sign with CircusBaby, Ballora, Funtime Foxy, and Funtime Freddy. You jumped in your seat, watching your mother turn off the car and walk around and over to you, helping you out of the car. You hopped down, running to the building. You heard your mother gasp and quickly grab you, pulling you back. You were confused for a second before seeing a car rush by.

"(Y/n) (m/n) (l/n)! You do not run out into the parking lot!"

You mother scolded you and you frowned, looking at the ground. You stuttered out,

"S-sorry m-mommy..."

"It's okay,"

She hugged you and picked you up. She looked both ways before crossing the parking lot.

"...just don't do that ever again."

You nodded, looking to the entrance doors. Your mother opened it and smiled, paying over at the counter and setting you down on the ground, grabbing your hand and gently pulling you to the room that held Funtime Freddy. You blinked, looking around the room. You finally saw Freddy and let go of your mother's hand, running over to him.

He and Bon-Bon were talking with another boy and girl. You slowed your pace and came up from behind Freddy. The boy, you recognized as Benny, and the other girl as Charlotte. Charlotte had short blond hair, blue eyes, a purple hair clip and wore yellow summer dress. Benny had medium length brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, light hazel eyes, he wore a short sleeved purple shirt and black pants.

Charlotte frowned at the sight of you and Benny glared. Funtime Freddy must've noticed the glares directed behind him and looked back, seeing you. He smiled and waved at you.

"H-hi (Y/n)!"

His voice glitched a bit, but it didn't matter to you. You smiled back and waved, looking back to Charlotte and Benny. They both scoffed and walked away. You frowned and looked at the ground.You suddenly felt a paw on your shoulder and looked up curiously at Freddy. He gave you a smile as well as Bon-Bon.

He put Bon-Bon up to your face. You blinked, looking at the small bunny puppet. Bon-Bon gave you a 'smile' and kissed(?) your forehead.

"What's t-the matter s-s-sweet pea?"

You giggled a bit at the nickname Freddy gave you. You smiled up at him and gave him a hug.

"It's nothing Fred!"

Funtime Freddy nodded, hugging you back. Bon-Bon wrapped his little arms around your neck carefully hugging you as well. You looked over at the small blue bunny and looked at Freddy, letting go of the hug.

"Hey Freddy, can I have a friend like Bon-Bon...?"

You blink, your curious (e/c) orbs looking up at Freddy hopefully. Funtime Freddy glanced at Bon-Bon and back to you.

"S-so, y-y-you want a-a h-hand pu-puppet?"

You nodded, having a small grin on your face. You saw Freddy stand up and walk over to a door and open it, going inside. You heard faint whispers, clearly Freddy and Bon-Bon were talking. They both then came out and smiled at you.

"Why d-don't we ma-make you a h-hand p-puppet?"

A hand puppet. Was that what Bon-Bon was? You smiled and nodded to the pink and white bear. Funtime Freddy smiled and took Bon-Bon off of his arm and turned, leaving.

You looked over to the blue bunny. Bon-Bon smiled at you also.

"Don't worry, he's coming back."

He said with his high pitched voice. It was cute. You hugged the puppet happily as Freddy came back with what your mother would say, art supplies. Speaking of your mother, you looked around for her, but didn't see her. You shrugged and thought she'd be talking to her friend again.

Freddy set down the supplies, showing glue, markers, paper bags, glitter, and googly eyes. You picked up the giant googly eyes and closed your eyes, putting them to your eyes. You 'looked' up at Freddy. Freddy chuckled, setting everything up.

"Okay, e-everything is s-s-set."

You put the eyes down and scooted closer to the stuff. You grabbed a paper bag and picked up the glue. You looked up at Freddy confused. He smiled at you and picked up a paper bag too.

"I-I'll t-teach yo-you."

You nodded, sitting criss-cross-applesauce with Bon-Bon in your lap. Freddy then grabbed a glue bottle of his own and tried picking up an eye. He grumbled, his paws too big to pick up something small. Bon-Bon giggled as you reached to the eyes and picked one up for him.

"Erm... T-thank you (Y-y/n)."

"No problem Freddy!"

He smiled and used the glue, gluing on the eye on the bag and actually getting another and gluing it on.

"So, l-like this."

You set down your paper bag and grabbed two of the huge googly eyes. You did the same as you saw Freddy do, you glued them and smiled.

"Got it!"

Funtime Freddy gave you a small smile and went back to teaching you.

By the time you finished your hands puppet was the time you had to go, your step father was here to pick you up instead of your mother. You frowned and sighed.

"I-It's okay, i-I'll see y-you to-tomorrow."

You nodded, standing up along with Funtime Freddy, he put Bon-Bon back on his arm and hugged you. You hugged back and smiled. You looked over to your father and then saw your mother. You had thought she had left.

"William, come on. I have an appointment at 3..."

He chuckled and glanced at you.

"Come on (Y/n)."

"Coming!"

You hugged Freddy one last time and ran to your step father. You looked back to Funtime Freddy and waved, smiling, telling out your goodbyes to him. And with that... You left.
