"Aren't you glad you won?"
"Yes I am."
He flashes a smile to me and I kiss his forehead.
"Were you surprised that I came to see you play?"
"Yes I was." He flashes another smile at me and I kiss his forehead again.
"But aren't you even happier that you won this game especially?"
"Dumbass I'm always happy when I win."
Shouyou puffs his cheeks out and turns his body away from me. The shift of him, his back now pressed against my front, was slightly arousing, even if it was just a simple movement.
I scoot closer to him and wrap arms around his waist. "I love you," I whisper into his ear.
I just hear him sigh. His chest moves up and down as he breathes and if we stay completely still, I can hear his heart beat beat with mine.
"Oh come on now," I say stroking his hair, "You always make me super happy. Happier than you could possibly imagine really."
Shouyou sits up and my hand that was stroking his hair falls to were his head was laying. My other hand, the one that was around his waist, fell to a place in only touched minutes, possibility hours, (we fell asleep afterwards) ago. I quickly move my hand away and unsure were to place it now, I just sit up and put it beside me.
He turns around to face me and now we sit in front of each other. Him on the bed sheet, me under. Him sitting criss-cross apple sauce, me still half laying down.
"I love you and I'm glad I can make you smile."
I just smile at him, not a forced one that scares people apparently, but a real one that I can only seem to show to him.
He gets off the bed and stretches and I don't advert my eyes until he looks back over to me.
"Saw you." He says laughing.
"Saw me do what?" My face I could feel was turning red.
"Like you don't know." He says teasing me.
I throw a pillow at him and he throws it back at me, but I could have swore he tried to spike it.
"What do you think want to eat for breakfast?" He asked leaving the room.
"Ah Shouyou!" I call after him still in the bed, "Maybe you should put some clothes on first!"
Shouyou runs back into the bedroom completely flustered. "Ah I forgot! I forgot!"
"Dumbass!" I say getting out of the bed. I walk over to the closet and grab a random shirt and just shove it on myself.
Trying not to look at Shouyou as I walk past him to the dresser to get some pants, I think about what I do want for breakfast. Pancakes and eggs sound nice but I highly doubt Shouyou can cook. And I don't want him fucking up my kitchen.
I shove some pants on and head to the kitchen where Shouyou is already taking out some eggs.
"I planned on my making some eggs and bacon and possibly waffles, if that's okay?" He tells me when I walk in.
"Pancakes would be better."
"Pancakes and waffles are practically the same thing." He says snorting.
"Waffles don't look like volleyballs dumbass."
"How rude then make your own damn pancakes." Shouyou says this but he made the batter for pancakes any way and made some in a little pan.
Fifteen minutes later, just like I thought, Shouyou can't cook for shit. He burnt everything. He invited a new shade of black, that's how bad the food was burnt. I didn't even know that was possible.
After he cleaned everything up I decided that we should just go out to eat breakfast.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Shouyou kept saying over and over again as he cleaned, as we walked to the nearest coffee shop, as we walked out separate ways to our different colleges. I smacked him upside the head and told him to stop apologizing because not everyone can be a great cook.
When I got back home from school, Shouyou wasn't at my apartment. Hopefully he'll be back soon. I've had this apartment for about a month and since both of our colleges aren't that far from my apartment, Shouyou asked if he can move in with me. I said sure whatever but I was actually over excited about the idea.
I've been in school for a month and today would be Shouyou's second day. I can't tell you how mad I was when I found out he skipped his first day to watch my volleyball match. I was touched and all but still mad because first days are big impressions to some people.
Twenty minutes passed by and I decided I was going to eat dinner because I was hungry. I placed an order of sushi take out because I didn't feel like cooking. I was also tried of doing all this homework. Everything is still hard to me, especially English. I'm Japanese dammit, not British or American.
Thirty minutes after I placed my dinner order, I hear a jungle of keys and the knobs turning. In steps Shouyou with a bag full of food.
"There was this guy walking in front of me and he had this food in his hands. When we both stopped at the same door he asked me if I ordered this and I said no but my roommate probably did so I can take it. So don't worry I paid the dude." He drops the bag of food front of me and sat down across the table from me.
"You look dead." I comment practically ignoring everything he just said to me.
"Well gee thanks." He blinks and his head starts to move up and down like he's about to fall asleep on me.
"Go to bed, you are tired I can tell." I say pushing back his hair from his eyes.
"Pft no I am not." He looks at me then the food. "I'm just hungry." He takes some sushi out of the bag and starts to eat some.
While we sat there and ate, literally five minutes after his first bite, his face slams into his food and he's asleep. I laugh but leave him there after I finish eating and turn off all the lights in the apartment and go to bed.
It's going to be hilarious when Shouyou wakes up in the morning.
