Hold Me if You're Scared

(Warning I'm a bad writer and this is short, this was requested by holyshitiloveboats)

"Kiri-San would you like to go to the new amusement park that just opened?" Makoto asked shyly, holding up two tickets. Kyoko wasn't the type of person to go out in public too often, but she couldn't decline Makoto's sweet offer

"I wouldn't mind." She replied simply making the boy sigh in relief. Makoto smiled brightly, and took her hand. As they were making their way to the park, she couldn't help but wonder if she'd ever been to one.

When they had entered the park, Kyoko couldn't help but look around. She had definitely been to an amusement park before, though only for a quick investigation. She looked back at Makoto and found him staring at her.

"Have you ever been to an amusement park Kiri" he asked, curiosity glowing in his eyes

"Yes but it was only for a small investigation" Kyoko replied making him nod, before smiling again. They continued  to walk around the park, Kyoko still enthralled in the sight, eyeing every detail. She might have been to one, but that sure was awhile ago. They stopped when they reached a roller coaster. The roller coaster was long with a few loops, and a very tall hill that had a steep drop.

"This is supposed to the tallest and fastest coaster in the park" Makoto exclaimed, his eyes glittering with excitement. Kyoko nodded and glanced back up at the hill, a pang of worry rushed over her. Makoto brushed a hand over her's and squeezed it a little.

"Hey are you alright?" he asked gently, his eyes replaced with worry. Kyoko looked at him with a faded blush on her cheeks, and just nodded in response, fearing her voice would give away how she really felt. Makoto just smiled, easing a bit of her tension.

"What are you doing to me Naegi, you're warming me up by the minute" she muttered under her breath. Surprisingly the line wasn't very long judging the ride being very popular.

"Must be too hot to wait in line today" Makoto joked, dramatically wiping sweat off his forehead. (Man I wish the temperature was warm where I'm at Rip :P) Kyoko gave him a small smile.

"Maybe..." Kyoko sounding a bit distant. She cursed under breath for it when Makoto looked at her confused.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He asked putting a hand on her shoulder. Kyoko gave him a small smile to try and reassure him. He smiled back at her though he didn't look very convinced. When they had gotten into the cars, Kyoko's breath was slightly uneven. Makoto looked at her and finally realized why she was being so distant. He put a hand over her's.

"If you're scares, you can hold onto my arm if you'd like" He said, heat rising to his cheeks. Kyoko looked over at him blinking a few times. Before she could respond the cars started to move. Kyoko quickly hugged his arm, making him jump slightly. Makoto smiled and gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Don't worry you'll be okay, you won't fall" he cooed. Kyoko swallowed hard and leaned her head on his shoulder as they neared the top of the hill. Makoto wrapped his other arm around her as they went down the hill, and he never let go until the end of the ride. This visit wouldn't be their last.
