I stood there, staring into his dark green eyes, as he slowly breathed astonished at me. "So.. what's your name ?", he asked me slowly. "U-uh..", I stuttered, nervous. I couldn't trust him. What if- he broke me out of my thoughts, speaking again, "You can trust me. I won't tell anyone, honest.", he said, lightly rubbing his finger behind my cat ears. My cat ears softly flicked, and I replied, "I.. I'm Fayette.".
"What a strange.. but pretty name. I like it. I'm Levi.", he replied, and I felt him softly pinch my tail, but not enough to hurt. He ran his finger across the fur of it a few times, before pulling away. "Sorry it's just.. to find a well.. tiny cat girl.. thing.", he said. I blinked. "Fairy. Not thing. I'm half fairy, half neko. Not a cat girl.", I snapped swiftly. "Big mouth for a small person.", he mumbled under his breath.
I flinched and grit my teeth, before just letting go. "Why do you have those.. Uhm, Crutches?", I asked after. He blinked. "Oh.. my leg. It's paralyzed. So I can't walk around correctly.", he replied, biting his lip. "Well," he said, starting to stand up, grabbing his crutches with his other hand, and steadying himself on them. He propped me onto his shoulder, and started to walk forward. And when he did, I felt his should blade rise, before falling underneath me, almost making me fall.
I scrambled from his shoulder and climbed over the hood hanging from his neck. He paused, as I pressed myself against his neck. "Sorry, just need to use these with both hands.", he said, and continued. I glanced back at the bush, and looked back at him. I could trust him, right ? At least, hopefully. I don't even have any idea where we are going
