"I didn't do it, I swear!"

Those.

Those were my words.

Of course, nobody believed me.

Either time I said them.

Now, don't get me wrong; I trust the system. The science. The law...but sometimes...things don't go the way they should...not all of the evidence leads in the correct direction...so that no matter how much you swear it wasn't you...no one. Will believe you.

That's what happened the first time those words came out of my mouth. I went down for a murder I didn't commit. Years later, more evidence surfaced and showed that I was innocent, so I was set free...but...I can never get that time back.

They stole years of my life, and all I get is an apology.

And that's why I'm going back in.

Like I said before, I've sworn twice that I was innocent.

The first time, it was true. I was. Completely innocent.

This time? I lied.

Now...I've finally gotten my revenge...
