The conquest for finding what you want after high school, while in high school, had always been hard for Olivia. For one, she had always been in love with theatre. But theatre, as his father would say, "will not support her lifestyle."

She lives a lavish life. She studies at Santiago College, one of the most expensive schools in the metro. At 13, she was gifted by her parents a new car, mostly because they don't want her to commute to and fro school. Their house is in an executive village. Her stuff are mostly luxury brands, "baby ka pa lang, naka-Gucci ka na," her yaya would quip.

But despite all those, she had stayed simple. She never asks for anything if it's not important, that's why she never fully understood what her father meant with his statement. "But daddy, what lifestyle? I barely even go out with my friends," she would argue.

Olivia had just woken up from a nap. Her room was her favorite hangout place, minimalistic in design but just as functional for a junior high school. White walls are perfect for curated Instagram photos on her feed. Sometimes, she uses her brick accent wall for that little "edge." Her cameras, film and digital alike, sit atop her white dresser from Ikea. A reading nook is beside it and has faux fur carpet on the floor.

It was already five o'clock on a Friday afternoon. Her floor to ceiling window showed an orange sky, signalling the setting of the sun. Having a room on the third floor of the house really has its perks, she can see how bright rays of the sun extend as if its hands are bowing down to all the houses it reaches.

Olivia reached for her phone on her white-washed wood side table. It was the Yearbook Head, Sam.

"Please don't forget, meeting tomorrow

for this year's first brainstorming.

Writers, please have at least one pitch.

Photographers, please think about

concepts to share too for their

creatives. -Sammy"

Great. She needs to work up her creative juices for a concept.

"What about 70's? Too tacky. Costumes? Too child-like. Fashion forward?" For sure her unrealistic standard won't be met.

It's her best friend Lucia.

"I'm downstairs! 💁🏼"

She jumped out of bed and ran as fast as she can. "This is the worst thing about living on the third floor," she thought. "It takes time to go down."

Lucia was busy travelling Europe during their Christmas vacation. That was why Olivia was too ecstatic to see her.

"HEEYYY!" Olivia shouted while jumping from almost half of the flight of stairs.

"Hello beshy!" They hugged each other so tight, Lucia's cap dropped.

"What's good? How's Europe? No! HOW WAS PARIS?" Olivia's excitement was overflowing.

"Tell me everything! E-VE-RY-THING!!"
