1D Smut One-Shots

Halo: Niam

I know I'm a bit late, but I just now discovered Beyoncé's Halo and I'm addicted. So, I am basing this one-shot on Halo. It might get a bit weird in the middle of the smut. xD I'm putting a different version (still by Beyoncé) which I find is just as good, if not better than the mainstream one on her official channel on the side. She's beautiful physically and with her voice. Her talent is stupefying.

Liam was Niall's guardian angel. Not only in his worst times did Liam bring Niall out of the dark abyss of depression, but he raised him to the clouds of paradise when he was already in his highs. So Liam wasn't surprised when the day came when Niall admitted his feelings for him, spilling out his inner fluttery feelings. What Niall didn't expect Liam to say was exactly what came out of his mouth.

"Liam... I... I think I..." Niall sighed, exasperated. He cradled his head in his pale hands, his ocean eyes welling up with salty tears. Why did he have to fall in love with his best friend? He's straight and it will just cause pain and heart-break. And when the problem is Liam, having Liam try and scoop him up and save him from drowning in the cresting sea of agony will be pushing him farther under the overwhelming waves.

"Ni, what's wrong?" Liam said, worry etched underneath his voice. His brown eyes swirled with confusion as he watched Niall start to break down in front of him. As soon as Niall let out the first choked, pathetic sob, Liam immediately whisked the Irish boy into his muscular arms, comforting him like a mother would an ill child.

Niall, now bawling freely, melted into the bigger's hug. He buried his red face into Liam's neck, tears streaking from his glistening blue eyes and onto Liam's exposed skin. When Liam started rubbing circles into the blonde's back, he shivered.

"Shhh, Ni, it's okay. Let it all out little leprechaun, it's okay," Liam whispered into Niall's ear. Niall's response was squeezing the brown-eyed boy harder.

And Niall did exactly that; let it all out, tears painting Liam's neck and Niall's cheeks. They stayed in that position for what seemed like half-an-hour, but in reality was five minutes.

When Niall finally collected himself, he stripped himself of Liam's warm embrace and wiped his bloodshot eyes of the dampness. He gave two short, humorless chuckles after he did.

"I-I'm alright," the blonde sniffled out. He gave a weak smile and took a deep breath before looking up and praying to whatever God was listening. "Liam... I'm..." He sighed and closed his blue eyes.  "Liam I'm gay for someone in the band. Not just a simple crush, either. I love him. Liam, I love you.," Niall said, oceanic eyes still closed in fear of his savior's reaction. After a few seconds of silence, Niall started to break down again. "Liam, I'm sorry! I-I'm sorry, Li. I can't help it."

Liam was processing Niall's words, staring intently at his near-broken best friend. To be honest, Liam had gotten weird feelings every once in a while. For instance, when he would make Niall smile his stomach would flip. When their eyes would lock Liam suddenly became self-conscious of what he's wearing, and that he didn't brush his hair that morning and it was a mop of straight, brown strands. When he made Niall laugh, he couldn't help but smile and chuckle himself. Liam didn't think it was a big deal, just that he was severely close with him. He didn't think they were a big deal, but in reality, they were.

"Niall... I... I think I'm gay for you, too. I get weird feelings and I try and pass them off as best friend feelings. I'm brought to the realization that these aren't friendly feelings because here you are, crying over me. I can't see you like this, Ni. I'm willing to see if we can work things out and try and become an item. Please, Ni, stop crying, you're going to make me cry because I'm making you cry." Liam didn't get verbal response, just a crying Niall crashing back into his arms, crying now of relief instead of suspense and rejection.
