Human Compassion
Around this time of year with people bustling around trying to get last minute shopping done we should take the time to reflect on something that is more important than presents.
What we should focus on is a powerful emotion called compassion; it saddens me whenever I hear stories about people being robbed or worse around this time of year more than any other time.
Why can't people for once all come together in a time that's supposed to be of peace? Instead of peace all we hear about is violence and occasionally a happy story.
People need to look deep inside themselves when it comes to compassion especially during Christmas. If someone who is fortune and wealthy, and they see someone who is poor and begging on the streets for food, offer them some money and a hot meal don't snub people just because they aren't in your social class.
There should not be any sort of thievery during this time of year, doesn't everyone know this time of year stopped World War One temporarily? That means this time of year is so powerful it reminds everyone in their hearts even during a war to be kind to one another and show some compassion.
