Chapter 1

Gabriella's P.O.V

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock, don't get me wrong I love school but I hate facing Harry Styles. He is one of the biggest jocks and player in the whole school, finds a girl, has sex with them, and leaves them the next day. He is it terrible person, I can't believe he has friends.

''Gabriella you're going to be late for school!'' My mum shouts from downstairs.

''I'm up mum'' I reply annoyed. I hop out of my nice warm bed and pushed open my door. I went into my bathroom putting on the shower and putting my arm underneath to check the temperate then I hopped in. After my shower, I made my way over to my room, I opened up my drawers trying to figure out what to wear. After what felt like ages, I decided to wear my black skinny jeans, with a floral blouse and my white vans. My outfit looked pretty good today, but I just wasn't in the mood.

I dabbed some make-up under my eyes to make me look less zombie like. I put my mascara on to make my blue eyes pop.

I went into the kitchen, seeing my father reading the newspaper and my mum blabbed about me on the phone. Of course.

I went over grabbed an apple then ran out the door to catch the bus.

As soon as I got out of the bus, I saw them at the gates, great let the bullying begin.

I was about to walk into school until Harry stopped me. I tried to leave but he grabbed my arm, and his friends just laughed. I hate them all.

''Look who arrived,'' Harry said trying to be intimidating.

''What do you guys want?'' I snapped at them

''Woah, no need for attitude, babe'' Harry replied. Maybe he should lose the attitude and leave me alone. But instead of responding, I steppped on his foot and walked away. Ignoring what Harry had said, I walked inside the school. Thankfully he choose not to follow me.

Off to my first class, English my favourite. When i walked in there I took a seat with my best friend Anna. She is perfect, she can always cheer me up and is so pretty. I wish I had her personality.

''Hey, what's up Bel?" Anna said cheerfully.

''Nothing much, just ran into them at the gates this morning.'' I replied sadly.

''Oh! I'm sorry to hear that! Don't let them get to you.'' She said cheering me up.

As I went to reply Mr. Parker came in our English teacher. He taught about something, which I didn't pay attention to because Anna and I passed notes the whole class.

''Class dismissed'' Mr. Parker said. We walked out of the classroom, waving bye to Mr. Parker.

''I can't wait to go to college together!'' Anna says excitedly.

Anna and I got accepted into college together, we literally spent the whole day packing for it when we found out. I was more excited then ever, I was going to college with my best friend!

''Same!'' I told her happily.

We went to lunch and sat at our table waiting for our 2 other friends, Leigh and Rose you can't separate them.

''Hey!'' Rose and Leigh said at the same time.

I just giggled and said Hi back.

''So how long until you guys leave here?'' Leigh asked with a frown.

''2 weeks.'' Anna told them sadly.

''Don't worry guys! We can always hang out on breaks. College is about 2 hours away so you guys are always welcome to come and visit!'' I tell them trying to cheer them up.

''Yeah, you guys could away come vistit, after all you guys have always been the there for us. I don't know what I could do without you!'' Anna assures them and they just nod. I feel bad about leaving them but college is a huge deal. And I have to get away from Harry and the gang. During lunch, I couldn't eat I was really happy about college. I imagined being far away from the gang and not being bullied, thankfully its only two weeks away. The lunch bell rang and I got up.

We all went our separate ways to the last class. Science Harry is also in there so it makes it worse.

''Okay, class today we will be dissecting a frog'' Mrs. Allen tells us. Ew I can't disinfect a frog! That's so gross, thinking about it makes me sick. I don't know what could could be worse.

''I have picked partners for this.'' Mrs. Allen says. Yeah she just made it 10 times worse.

I heard a whole bunch of people groan about that. I just hope I'm not with Ha-

''Gabriella Holmes and Harry Styles'' Mrs. Allen says. I think I'm going to puke. Yippie! I get to be paired up with my bully *note the sarcasm*

''Lets just get this over with.'' he mumbles not even giving me eye contact. He took the frog and cut it open, making my stomach turn. Why frogs, why not a bug or something, Harry didn't care though. Through out the class people screamed and a kid threw up. I almost ran out of the class when the bell rang. I picked up my books and went to my locker, I put my books in it and grabbed my coat and phone. I am so happy that class is over, I am honestly surprised Harry didn't bully me or say anything. I walked outside and saw Anna waiting for me in her car. Thank god, I didn't want to take the bus.

''Lets get moving!'' She says and I just nod.

'' I'll see you tomorrow Bel!'' Anna happily says.

''Bye Anna '' I respond and wave.

After we said our goodbyes, I went into my house finding a note on the fridge.

Hey, Bel, Your father and I had to go to London to visit your Grandmother for 2 weeks she is very ill. I left you some money under the fridge. You could stay here or go over to Anna's house. Love you lots! Be safe xoxo and no parties.

Great I'm here with no parents for 2 weeks.

I went upstairs and put some clothes and stuff I would need into a suitcase and went over to Anna's house.

''Hey girl, my parents went to see my grandma so would it be okay if I stay her for er.. 2 weeks?" I ask Anna. I hope she says yes, because I do not want to spend that much time alone. I hate being alone, thats why college seems fun because of roommates and parties. Anna and I are going to be roommates, well I am pretty sure. I have to call my mum and tell her that I probably will be at Anna's house and college starts in two weeks. My thoughts were interrupted by Anna.

''Yes! Totally we could pack for college and everything! Let me go ask my mum." Anna answers. Wait, will my parents be back before I leave? I really hope so, that would be terrible of they weren't.

''My mum said yes!'' she practically screamed. I just chuckled and turned on the TV. After spending 3 hours on our iPhones and talking about college, mostly about the cute boys we will meet, we decided to go to bed.
