"Aish! Stop wandering off!" Tao grabbed me by the hand.

"Tao, what if somebody attacks us?"

"I'm a martial artist."

I laughed, "I know!"

"Why'd you ask then?"

"My boyfriend is so cool!"

"Fake boy..."

"Shh," I put my finger to his lips, "We're in public."

"Right, hey, we should get matching masks. Oh, and hats!"

"We should get complete matching outfits!" I started wandering towards a store.

"Hey! I told you to stop wandering off!" He squeezed my hand, "What if some crazy fan girl murders you."

"They wouldn't right? Don't they care more about your happiness?"

"Not necessarily," his tone changed to a whisper, "They care more about their own happiness then mine. They'll destroy my happiness to make themselves happy."

I hugged his arm, "Tao, I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Do you want to go to the aquarium?"

"Let's get matching outfits first!"

"Did they have to be pink sweaters? Why do the masks have whiskers on them?"

"You look cute!" I booped his nose, he looked extremely flustered and pulled the mask back over his face, "Have I rendered you speechless?"

He shook his head and looked at the clown fish.

"Tao! Don't ignore me!"

"Instagram opportunity!" He took a picture of our intertwined hands.

"Why not a selfie? Is your Instagram too good for selfies?"

"Post a selfie on your Instagram. My Instagram has a specific dimly lit aesthetic."

"Oh! A photo booth!" I tried to go towards it but he held me back.

"What did I say about wandering away from me, Mei!?" He scolded me.

"Oh! I'm melting!" The voice of a girl said, "Tao oppa! The way you scold her! I feel like my heart exploded!"

"What can I say? I'm real daddy material," Tao smirked, dragging me in the other direction, "Who's rendered speechless now?"

"You're so embarrassing! Somebody probably recorded that!"

"So what? Scared your parents might see it?" He teased.

"I don't care about them," I muttered, "I want to sit down, my feet hurt."

"I can give you a piggyback ride," He offered.

"But then your feet will hurt," I said.

"I wore good shoes, Converse aren't good shoes to walk around in. Here, hop on."

"I feel so tall! I'm jealous!"

"If you were as tall as I am you wouldn't be cute anymore."

"Whatever," I waved at a mall Santa Claus, "Can you believe it's almost Christmas? I still can't believe it's December," December usually wasn't a good month for me. My birthday was the same day as Christmas which kind of sucked to be honest. I'm sure I was my parents' least favorite gift.

"Hold on with both hands, Mei!"

I ignored him, "Look! A wishing fountain!"

"Okay, make a wish, but then we have to go," He let me down.

"You make a wish too," I put a coin in his hand.

I closed my eyes and made a wish. I wish that Tao and I can both be happier then we seem like now.

He held my hand again, "What'd you wish for?"

"If I tell you, it won't come true. Don't tell me yours either. So it can come true."

He laughed and pulled his mask down, "I wasn't going to tell you anyways. I'm probably going to be in huge trouble when I get back home."

"How come?"

"I left without permission and sent my manager a text after I was already gone."

"Tao! You shouldn't get yourself in trouble to come see me."

"I don't care if I get in trouble," His eyes dazzled in the lights from the stores, he was smiling, but his eyes looked sad, "There's the car."
