Chapter 5: New start..hopefully

After seeing my brother and his best friend. We decided to go to the closest coffee shop in the neighborhood.
James: I don't know where to start
Me: how about starting off with why you went MIA and leave me with those crackheads we call parents. You knew what they did to me after you left but you never came back for me. They abused me more because they blamed me for you leaving!!!
James: i know I know and I'm sorry but I didn't know what to do I was young and selfish. I was only thinking of myself. I'm sorry camy I really am.
Me: Mann whatever I mm trying to leave it in the past I had enough already to deal with.
James: I know and starting from now I will make it up to you.
Me: mmhm soooo where are you staying.. did you find a place yet.
James: yes, me and trey found a place in crownsheights which i made sure is not too far for school.
Me: can't wait to see it. And about trey.... why is he with you anyways
James: we been rooming together and I told him our situation and he decided to be a good friend and tag along.
Me:ohh that's nice i guess
James: yeah why you ask tho?
Me: I'm just curious but I ain't gon lie though he is very very cute by the way.
James: *starts laughing* little sister gotta a crush on my bro huhhhh
Me: shut up it's not even like that
James: whatever let's bounce
Me:bet.
As we drive to this new home that I will call home I can't help but think how will life be. Will it be the same or will I finally have the true meaning of happiness in my life. I guess we can only see where the road takes us so let's see...
