It's winter in New York. The air is freezing. Kurt and Blaine are inside and warm. They are on the sofa together. Kurt is sitting and Blaine is laying down with his head on Kurt's lap.
Blaine is holding a book above his face as he reads, and Kurt is playing with his curly hair as The Bachelor plays in the background.

Kurt runs his fingers through Blaine's curls. Kurt suddenly breaks the silence.

"You know, I like your hair without gel"

Blaine keeps looking at his book, half reading, half listening.

"Is that so?" he says, smiling. Looking up at him.

"Yeah...Your hair looks fine..." Kurt responds.

Blaine looks back at his book. "Last time I was in public without gel, Sam didn't recognize me." he says.

"Yeah, well that's just Sam being Sam." Kurt responds.

"During our last prom Brittany called me, 'Mr. Broccoli Head'" Blaine says smiling at the memory.

"And that's just Brittany being Brittany..." Kurt stops. Thinking for awhile. "It's surprising they only dated for a short time."

"Yeah, I know. I thought they would last longer." Blaine agrees

They sit in silence for awhile and let the memories of highschool race through their heads.

"I miss them" Kurt says suddenly.

"Who?" Blaine responds

"All of them" Kurt says. "Sam, Brittany, Rachel... even Karofksy."

Blaine stops, a little shocked Kurt brought him up.
"I hope Dave's well" is all Blaine says.

"I'm sure he is" Kurt says sincerely.

They sit in silence, they haven't talked about Karofsky since he and Blaine broke up.

"Did you love him?" Kurt suddenly says.

Blaine sits in silence, a little shocked.

Kurt speaks "I mean, I've dated other people but never lived with them. It must have been serious."

Blaine puts his book open, faced down on the coffee table. He sits up and looks at Kurt.
"I mean, I feel like it could have lasted longer, Dave's a great guy," He says "There was just something that was always holding me back from 'loving' him."

"What's that?" Kurt asks.

The ends of Blaine's lips slightly tilt up as he looks in Kurt's eyes.
"You." he says softly."I couldn't sleep, I couldn't do anything. It wasn't home."

"Home?" Kurt says confused.

"You are my home." he says " You were my first love. You were my only love, and you're my last."

Kurt looks at Blaine smiling back at him. He leans in closer. Soon Kurt's lips delicately brush against Blaine's. As soon as they touch they melt into each other. Kurt wraps his arms around Blaine as he holds the back of Kurt's head. Kurt pulls away because he can't help grinning while he kisses Blaine . They sit forehead to forehead holding each other with their eyes closed.
Blaine leans back in. They kiss and hold each other. It's too easy for them to loose themselves in each other.
